Hey guys, this is where you tell stories of wounds and scars you have and how you got them.

I was in Maui with my family, and we had gone to the tidepools to see animals and play in the water. Fun right? No. At first, my dad saw a squid and showed it to us, then a wave came over and drenched him. We all laughed at him, including the other families there. Then we went back to what we were doing. Me and my little 9 year old brother had gone into this crater shaped like a jacuzi ( All the stuff there was volcanic crater) and were talking and having fun. I was thinking about getting out, but i never got that chance. Then this HUGE wave comes over. Everyone watches it, and me and my brother close our eyes, ready for the impact. But the wave flushes us out of the crater, and onto some sharp jagged rocks below. Luckily, my brothers didn't get stuck in these moving gaps of rocks, of one of us could have drowned. Something else had happened. Blood was dripping from my head, shoulders, arms, side, back, and a very spot it shouldn't be bleeding in. Yeah, so now, i have scars on my side, because that wound was the worst. Never turn your back on the ocean ...

errr...this is kinda odd to talk about, but I have 3 really faint scars on my wrist. Yes, I from slitting.

Ya mind telling me why people do that. I never understood the logic behind it.

Aren't wounds,and scars types of body aches,and injuries?

I already have topic about them on this page,if they are.

I have tons of scars and wounds on me( not proud of that).

On my left wrist I have three scars from when I got my pet dog mad and he decided to bite me(it was my fault) and i had to go to the emergency room for them.

On my right arm I have a scar from a rusty nail that I accidently dragged my arm across.

Again on my left arm I have a piece of pencil lead in me because i tried to reach into my right pocket to get it out and accidently stuck my self with it.

I almost lost my left ear(it looks okay like any ear now) when I accidently yanked my dog's tail and he bit me(fortunately did not have to go to hospital).

And on my left eye area I have been hit and cut and scratched there so many times it's a miracle nothing totally serious has happened yet ( most of those were from Karate class/ I'm a second degree black belt and it happens all the time).

Do you really have to be so critical about everything? No. Does it matter why people do it? No. Does it hurt you when people do it? Again; No.

As for me, I have a ton of scars. lol. One of the palm of my left hand from being bitten by a dog way back when I was in first grade. I've... never liked basit hounds since then... XD !! One's by my right eye from when MY dog bit me. lol. She was sleeping, I startled her, so it was my fault. And the poor girl knew she did something wrong. Then she wouldn't leave my side for the longest time. And... a probably too large of number from that "darker" time. -shrug- But eh, lemon juice works wonders on those. (Yeah, it stings, but if you want it not to scar, lemon juice helps somehow).

I've got lots of various nicks and scars from animal bites/scratches and.. other reasons. I work w/ animals a lot so it goes w/o saying, the injuries come w/ the experience I'm not terrible w/ animals, but anyone who works w/ animals of some kind knows that that's just what happens w/ that chosen niche, you know? Animals will bite, scratch, etc., for whatever reason they may have; a lot of the time it's the person's fault. Sometimes it's not. It's all good... you learn from it at least... now I know never to try and scruff this particular cat where I work, and it's MUCH easier to just corner her w/ a towel and make a yowling cat burrito And I know to trim all my cats' nails regularly, especially if I want to comfortably hold them & not get diced up if/when they jump away... And I know how to handle really difficult dogs that are eager to bite you... get HELP x.x

I was bitten by a dog @ work a couple months ago; he was a young (probably year old or under) pitbull, unneutered, and absolutely crazy... not crazy *aggressive* or mean, mind you - he was just a puppy completely pumped up on testosterone and wicked energetic, and had no decent training beforehand to calm him down (he was a stray that was brought in)... so whenever I went to bring him out to pee, he'd get so excited he'd keep jumping up & nipping... At first I kind of managed to control him, saying "No", "Stop it", etc... and then one time when I took him out, he was doing it again, and wouldn't stop, so I went and grabbed his collar to hold him down myself... and he just reached up and bit my shoulder x.x It was bleeding just a little bit, not too bad (definitely not 'gushing') but it left a huge, bluish-purple bruise for about a week afterward and it's still kind of scarred. Not very noticeable though.
