Amy Hewuh is one of four sisters. They live with their father, who refuses to allow them to exercise their powers. What powers? They’re elementalists. Amy is of water and her sisters are each of fire, earth, and air. They usually sneak off the beach at night to practice their powers and when their mother comes to visit, they are allowed to practice more often. Their mother thinks they should practice more but their father is against it.
However, on one visit, their mother explains that the moment the oldest turns 18, they all must become more than elementalists. They can chose any other magical breed and at first they think that the choice getting nearer and nearer will be fantastic. But the night the oldest turns 18, they are thrown headfirst in an adventure they never believed would occur.
First of all, they begin to discover other magical beings in their very town. Vampires, werewolves, witches, wizards, shapeshifters…. And there is a group of all of them working together who want too destroy all humans so that magical beings can control the earth. Second, they are granted one day after the oldest’s 18th birthday.
They must defeat the group that call themselves The Power.
They must stick together through thick and thin.
They must make new friends who will help them and all their new group The Resistance.
They must decide who they really are and what they must become.
And they must discover the full extent of their powers to protect their loved ones.

Fun facts: The four sisters are the only elementalists because there can only be one elementalist for each element at a time so if one elementalist dies, a new elementalist with that element will be born
Werewolves can be bitten or born as a werewolf but none of them, whether bitten or born one, change only on the full moon
Shapeshifters can change into anything although they specialize in one thing
Some vampires don’t drink human blood and some do
Dragons can disguise themselves as humans or animals but they are not shapeshifters and they hate it when they have to pretend to be human or an animal. They are the only things the four sisters can’t become
