Alright, anyway, congrats and good luck, just remember, this breed is pretty shy at first so getting him/her used to you will take patience. Also, Star is an Alaskan Klee Kai, but not personality was the most like one. Well, if you look at my comments on DrewTheWolf's fan news article on the main page (dated mid September), you will see that while Universal and Amblimation may have decided to base Star on an Alaskan Klee Klai, that was a historical goof. The Alaskan Klee Klai breed did not exist until the 1970s. And the serum run was in 1925. True, but he is still one, even if the breed didn't exist in our timeline yet, if your think about it, Star didn't really exist in our timeline, and they took many creative liberties in the making of the movie, Balto for example, as we all know was really a husky in really life so lets not let that bother us.

I was just pointing it out. It doesn't bother me one iota. Since the whole cartoon is basically a farce in comparison to the actual history, and has contributed in making a whole legion of fans believe (some rather feverishly) believe that the real Balto was a wolf-dog, there are bigger things to worry about than the fact that they based a completely fictional character off of a dog breed which wouldn't exist for another fifty years hence. True, though the movie was probably more entertaining from than a direct reproduction of the actuel events. Though I'm sure the real events were cool but from an entertainment perspective, this is better and more age appropit.

While we are BOTH taking this topic off its course (and we both need to stop, and this response seems like a good point to do so, unless you really want to respond this one last time), I have to ask why you would say that if you have little to no idea what the real events were like. That makes no sense whatsoever. If you knew them like I (and a few others on this site) do, you'd know that they are at least as dramatic (and, in many cases, far more plausible). Now, shall we allow this topic to get back to itself, please? Ok, quick response, then back to the topic, yes, I do know its dramatic, but for the format, from the dogs perspective, this put more drama in the dog's perspective. Alright, back on topic, good luck with that dog, I hope you get it and you have a good pet. They're a little shy but they're nice dogs, so I hear. You'll need to get them aquainted with any other dogs you have or get and can't expect them to get along without some help. They're a small dog but they're sled dogs, which means they're strong and energatic normally.

Oh yeah, and star is one too! thanks for bringin that up! If it is a boy i am most likely gonna name it Star or Fritz (Fritz was the name of the number two dog in the REAL syrum run with Seppela's team!) i think that would be a cool tribute
