Have you heard about a 7 year old in Australia who fed loads of poor animals to a croc? Here are 2 selected story's FOX News ( http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,432085,00.html): SYDNEY, Australia — A blank-faced 7-year-old boy broke into a popular Outback zoo, fed a string of animals to the resident crocodile and bashed several lizards to death with a rock, the zoo's director said Friday. The boy jumped a security fence at the Alice Springs Reptile Center in central Australia early Wednesday, then went on a 30-minute killing spree, using a rock to slay three lizards, including the zoo's beloved, 20-year-old goanna, which he then fed to "Terry," an 11-foot, 440-pound vsaltwater crocodile, said zoo director Rex Neindorf. The boy, whose deadly acts were caught on the zoo's security camera, also threw several live animals to Terry over the two fences surrounding the crocodile's enclosure, at one point climbing over the outer fence to get closer to the giant reptile. In the footage, the boy's face remains largely blank, Neindorf said. "It was like he was playing a game," he said. He killed 13 animals worth around $5,500, including a turtle, bearded dragons and thorny devil lizards, Neindorf said. Although none were rare, some would be difficult to replace, he said. "We're horrified that anyone can do this, and saddened by the age of the child," Neindorf said. Alice Springs police said they identified the boy, who lives locally, but were unable to press charges because of his age. Children under age 10 are not criminally liable under the law in the Northern Territory. "By all accounts, he's quite a nasty 7-year-old," said Neindorf, who plans to sue the boy's parents. "If we can't put the blame onto the child, then someone has to accept the responsibility." The zoo's security system, which relies on sensors, probably did not detect the boy because he is so small, Neindorf said.
Daily News ( http://www.nydailynews.com/news/us_worl ... _outb.html): Alice Springs police said they identified the boy, who lives locally, but were unable to press charges because of his age. "It's like he was playing a game," stunned zoo director Rex Neindorf said of the suspect. In all, 13 animals worth $5,500 were killed at the Alice Springs Reptile Center in central Australia. Among the victims was a beloved 20-year-old Goanna lizard, killed and tossed to the crocodile known as Terry. The youth also pitched four western blue-tongued lizards, two bearded dragons, two thorny devils and a turtle into the crocodile pit. With its 64 razor-sharp teeth, the croc is considered one of the world's most dangerous and aggressive animals. At one point, the boy climbed over the first fence to get closer to the deadly reptile, authorities said. Neindorf said the child was lucky Terry didn't target him during the feeding frenzy. The child's diminutive size allowed him to slip past the zoo's security system, which uses sensors to detect intruders, Neindorf said. "We're horrified that anyone can do this, and saddened by the age of the child," Neindorf said. "The fact a 7-year-old can wreak so much havoc in such a short time, let alone even think of doing something like this, is unbelievable. If it was back in my day, he'd get a big boot up the arse." Because of his age, officials said they cannot charge the youth, whose identity was not released. Zoo officials plan to sue the child's parents for damages in the unexplained menagerie massacre.
I mean, how could someone do this? It makes me feel sick, And actually made me cry when I read the Article. What do you think?

I dont blame the kid or the parents. I even feel sorry for that kid. I am horrifide by what he did and the lose of those poor animals to such a cruel death almost brings tears to my own eyes. And I'm going to ask you guys to at least forgive him. In my view he was corruppted, being a Christain I hope that someone will talk to that kid in a kind way, to make him see what he did was wrong. What happened ot those animals didn't need to happen, but the kid can change his ways at such a young age, to help prevent any acts like this ever again.
ps. If you dont agree with what I have wrote, please dont flame.

I heard about this from someone at school. He had some motive for it, I think one of the animals scared him or something so he wanted revenge. I don't think the boy is responsable, he's a little kid, he doesn't realize what he did, I'd punish him for it but not you know incredably bad, just so he realized he'd done something very wrong. And something that you need to realize is, imagine how people are gonna treat this kid the rest of his life, how much he'll be picked on and such. ITs sad for the animals and the boy really.

Seeing your comments, and people going "It's not his fault." It IS his fault. He picked the Animals up, he threw them to the croc, and HE grinned.

But you must remember he is only a child, and we don't even know what his motives might have been. He might have done it out of fear, peer-pressure, or many other factors (yes, he could have even done it for 'fun.') Children who do things like this usually have some sort of problem affecting them.
