Alright, this is my all time favorite shows, it is awsome. The writing is above par and is easily the best current show Cartoonnetwork is showing now, which there was an artical complaining about Cartoonnetwork's lack of creative shows recently. Before I continue, if ANYONE would like to do a privite rp with me involving Ben 10, I'm game.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

Alright, Ben was an avarge ten year old kid until he discovered an alien device that let him turn into 10 (at first) diffrent alien heroes, he gradually obtained more. He along with his grandpa Max, who turned out to work for a top secret intergalactic organisation called the Plumbers, and his cousin Gwen, who discovered she had 'magic' powers, which turned out to be due to her grandmother being an alien and not actuelly magic (this was in Alien Force). In the sequal series, Kevin joined them, he was a main villian in Ben 10 but reformed and joined them, he has the power to absorb a material to coat himself with, giving him superstrength and durabilty.

I must admit I prefer some of the changes they made in Alien Force, particularly concerning Gwen's powers, but I have a few problems with the whole business of human/alien hybrids in the series.

Well I mostly don't have a problem with it, except for the Pyronite/human hybrid because for rather obvious reasons, that seems kinda impossible. The Highbreed are awsome though, I like them a lot, they've got a good appearence and motive. I also love Ben's new aliens, Brainstorm is my favorite.

When you get right down to it none of them would work unless they were genetically engineered (which I'm not too crazy about either), since odds are strongly against the chromosomes being compatable enough to connect. In other words, it would be like trying to splice, say, a crocodile and a frog's DNA. The genetic codes would clashh so much that the organism would probably never survive. Which brings up another thing: biology. For example, that girl who was half Kiniceleran. Implicitly, she aged like a normal human. Yet her speed would imply an advanced rate of metabolism... see the contradiction?

Actuelly the reason Kinicelerans age quickly is because there planet's constently hit with electrical storms that speeds everything up, from what I've heard, they could survive longer on another world. But I see your point though I honestly don't think it was meant to be realistic, its just something that makes a cool story element. I do agree with you on Gwen, the magic thing didn't really work for me but this seems a lot better. I also like they made Kevin a good guy.

That doesn't really make much sense to me. Rate of rotation doesn't effect time, although some scientists theorize that the flow of time might be effected by gravity. Not sure how that works, but...
As for making Kevin a good guy, maybe so. It doesn't fit very well with the events shown in the future episode where he was Kevin 11,000, though.

True, it doesn't fit with 'Ken 10' but what must be remembered is that 'Ben 10,000' and its direct sequal are a possible future so it doesn't necerally have to fit and Ben and Gwen just being in the future and seeing it would likely alter or branch the time stream, so nether it or Alien Force are right or wrong, they're just diffrent ways to tell the story, just like 'Gwen 10' is another alternate time line.

I suppose, although putting it that way sounds like pluralism. And frankly, I hate pluralism.

Well really its just the fact that Ben 10,000 interfered in the past, causing the timeline to split. Anytime there's time trevel involved, the timeline splits. Really I like Kevin as a good guy, Ben wanted to be allies with him in the first place and they do make a great team, along with Gwen.

I like Benwolf too, all the horror themed Aliens were cool, I just wish he'd used them more often. I also loved the season 2 finale of Alien Force, it was awsome!

I also loved that show and I love that part when Ben faces off with Vilgax, it was so cool.

Yeah, I sure hope Vilgax returns for Alien Force Season 3, I hear Hex is returning that season as well.

No way. I'll look into that. I want to see what Vilgax looks like now...

Season 3 is starting with a one hour special featuring the return of Vilgax! Apparently Ben last fought Vilgax in Secret of the Omnitrix, judging by the previews. Vilgax is back and apparently absorbed the powers of the greatest heroes on 10 worlds (Ultimo from the original series included), probably to even his odds against Ben. Now he's returning to Earth to face Ben one last time for the fate of Earth.
