Alright, just to establish a fact, I am an avid reader, I try hard to have a book with me at all times during the school year, this was one of those. I'll probably also post more of my favorite books.

This is the debut novel of Dave Freedman, and I must say, for his first run, I can expect to enjoy more works from him in the future. Natural Selection follows a group of scientists tracking a new species of predator, in this case a distent, predatory cousin of the Manta Ray. However this takes a turn for the worse when one of the monsters takes a leap in evolution and devolps a taste for humans.

There is a good bit of scientific fact in this novel but he makes a few holes and the thought of the drasticly rapid evolution of the Ray takes a suspencion of belief but its overall an excellent read, some parts have unexpected turns and if you invision the monster, it would be geniounly terrifing. Anyway, just thought I'd share this with you. If you're into this kinda story, defiently pick it up when you get the chance!
