Have you notest that, a frame from Balto (scene from the bear attack.) 1 appears on the cover of Balto 2, on the region 2 DVD cover? I have compared the two images to show you. There not exatly the same, but it got my attention when I saw the images.

According to wikipedia region 2 is Western and Central Europe; Western Asia; Egypt, Japan, South Africa, Swaziland; British overseas territories, and French overseas territories.

Hope that helps!

Funnily enough I'd not noticed that. It's definately a nod to the original film, especially as Balto's design during WQ was vastly different to the original movie's design.
It's pretty much the exact same pose and design just mirrored and obviously drawn by a different artist.

You know, I noticed this too. Perhaps this was the artist's homage to the original Balto film (since, apparently the actual sequel hardly had any other homage . . . except for a few major points).

Still, it is different, but what do you expect? Different art styles, but it is quite similar.

And also, this is the cover for everywhere other than the US . . . sadly, we got stuck with a baaaaaaaad cover and an even worse summary on the back. XD (This coming from a WQ fan)
