I really was stuck as to where to put this but decided this was probably the best section for it.

Anyways, I was actually kinda bored and read a post by JC about there not being any colour photo's of Togo which is a shame really so I thought I'd have a shot at some Photo Manipulation and gave him some colour back.

I have no idea if this is his actual colouring as it was a black and white photo and, as said, there aren't any colour photo's of Togo so I guessed, it was fun though.

Just in case anyone wants to know - Done in Photoshop 7.0

Original photograph © whoever took it. I don't own it.

Awww, that's cute Mighty! Interesting to see the two versions. I think yours is more of a vivid brown...
I created a new layer which was set to...Multiply or Screen...or Overlay, unsure now, traced Togo with a brown brush, locked the opacity and altered the colours until I thought it looked right.

Thanks to everyone else for the replies too! ^^

It is nice. But given what we now know about this photo, I think more gray around the eyes, muzzle and, apparently, even on the head, is needed.

thanks. i'll keep that in mind.

At a low opacity yes?

Using low opacity works well with the layer being set to one of those I mentioned. Also I'd try not to use the burn and dodge tools, the photo has all the shading already, using one of those modes will allow it to show all the shading already. Dodge tends to make things shine too much.

Yes, of course. Thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind.
