Gallant Compulsion, an avatar shop owned by Griffin. Even though I call it a "shop", it does
not cost money - so don't fret. The only price you have to pay is to follow my regulations. And you may have also noticed it says "Avatar Shoppe" - that's because I
only do avatar requests. Signatures take too much of my time. Maybe in the future I will allow requests other than avatars, but again, they take too much of my time.
This means you are free to request! Just read the regulations and fill out the form, and you're all set to go!
Before anything, you must read - and follow - these simple regulations. I will not require a codeword, but please read these; they are important in order to request.1. You must give me credit, no matter what. If I don't see a, "Avatar made by Griffin," in your signature, then I will PM you to put it there. If you refuse to give me credit, I will be forced to report you to a forum moderator.
2. If you don't use my form, you will not be accepted on my request list. Sorry, but not only is that form important for you, but it's important for me, too.
3. You must use stock images - not sure what stock is? There's a whole section dedicated to it beneath this one.
4. These avatars must be used on the Animation Source forums, or on your BS or LKS profile - do NOT use it anywheres else!
5. Please do not badger me to do your request; I have a life, and I do not live on the computer. However, if you're request is not done within three weeks, you are allowed to PM me.
6. The fifth rule is to follow these rules, especially #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and #6 - oh wait! That's
all of them!
Not sure what stock is? Don't fret! I don't expect many people to know!What are stock images? Stock images are images that you are actually allowed to use - for all of you who are getting their images from Google, well, that
could be illegal, so it's not allowed here! ;D Instead, stock images are the way to go, since with stock, you actually have permission to use the images. ^^
Where can I get them? I recommend using
deviantART Resources > Stock Images (after clicking the link, type in the animal or picture you want to find in the search engine, but make sure it's stock - and just in case, look in the description to verify that it IS stock),
Flickr advanced search (type in what you want in the search engine, then DO NOT FORGET to check the box that says Creative Commons License, THEN check "Find content to modify, adapt, or build upon", or
sobi.org (this place offers images that you are allowed to use; it offers cats, dogs, and more!).
I'm sorry to say that if you don't use stock images, you aren't welcome to request in my shop - and I'll KNOW if you use stock or not!
Here are examples of the avatars I make. Please DO NOT use any; if I make any to use, it will be labeled a freebie.
You might have noticed I like working with cats. xD Anyways, I'll put up more as we go along. ^^ For now, I think this is enough.. But yeah; just examples of the effects and stoofz I use. =]

Simple form, right? And for all of them, EXCEPT Your Username and Pictures, you're allowed to put "You choose" - 'cos not all of us are..you know, that educated with the effects that can be done. BTW, I'll use any font; I'm able to download fonts, so it won't be much of a problem. ^^ If you wish for it to be a certain size, put that in other.
Remember, use stock images, and find them yourself! I will not go picture-hunting for you!
If a slot is open, you are free to request. When all slots are taken, the shop will be closed. I only take five requests at a time, and I do not reserve requests - that's unfair.
