Have you ever seen a movie that really spoke to you, something that went past mere entertainment and really touched your heart in some special way? If so, put it here.
For me, "Miracle Worker" comes to mind. It's a reenactment of the story of Helen Keller and her teacher, and I definitely recommend seeing it sometime.

I guess it should, I didn't see that section when I went to set it up. My bad, I'll ask a mod to move it to the right section.

"pay it forward" its about this kid who tries to change three peoples lives in hopes they'll do the same to three others. I know that because of the world we live in its unlikly to possibly change the world in the way he did but it's insperasional to think one could at least try. this world seems to be loosing its kind nature and is becoming more dangerous very moment. It'd be nice to think that if only day the world was united

Are you asking about movies that are just supposed to have a deep impact on someone as a person, or do you mean simply movies with just a message to convey? Because we call that a theme, and while not all movies have one, just because one does, that might not necessarily mean it has meaning... at least, it's more on a personal level. Because even shallow films and stories can have an impact on someone.

Preferably one with really deep meaning, although the minimum I'm asking for is something that had an impact individually.

I'm not quite sure why the movie Prince Of Egypt really spoke to me its hard to explain but it really opened up to me what it's like to be brother (or sibling) and how close you can be but then no matter how close you are it can still be such a fragile thing that could tear you apart no matter how much you love each other... lol strange I know but thats what I got from this kids movie; I look into things to deeply :P

Funny how a lot of people think a kids movie can't hold deep meaning. It's simply not true. In fact a time goes on I see more and more evidence that children's movies and books carry more meaning than adult materials. Take Prince of Egypt for instance. If you know where to look (and I missed this myself when I first saw it), it contains within it an interesting reflection on one of today's most heated debates in American society. Over two thousand years ago, clear on the other side of the planet, and it still pertains to us today! Think of that.

Invisible Children. Its a documentary about the ongoing suffering of children in northen Uganda dealing with Africa's longest ongoing war, where they abduct children and force them to become soliders via a rebel leader. Its really really touching and has affected me on a very high level. I am donating money as well as my grandma's and some of my friends. It goes to rebuilding schools and restoring hope to them and is helping end the war slowly but surely.

I suggest you check it out sometime, you can buy it at invisiblechildren.com or watch it in parts on youtube which I don't think they mind its up there since its been up for awhile and it helps spread the word online. Thats all this is about making a change.

Radio, Finding Neverland, and Facing the Giants.

Radio: A very nice movie. Was touching in the fact that one man was eager to help another succeed. Based on a true story.

Finding Neverland: Though a bit of an odd film, it showed how everyone needs each other when it comes down to it. Related to Peter Pan.

Facing the Giants: An over-all good film. It helped strengthen my faith. Made by a church in Kentucky or some other state.

Facing the Giants was a GOOD movie. I'm going to try to get my brother to watch it, and he hates sports (especially football).
