The New Zealand National Dog Show was on today, and of course I bunked school to go. 8D (Hey, it's the last day of term anyway). And cuz I'm nice I took pictures. Not many breeds unfortunately, we didn't stay very long. But I'm going back tonight to see the Musical Freestyle, and I'm going tomorrow and the day after, so expect lots more pics!

Sorry about the quality, I didn't want to use the flash in case it annoyed the dogs (more likely the handlers), and I was sitting quite far away so I used the zoom tool a lot, hence really crap pictures. But oh well, a couple of them are good-ish. There were a TON of pictures, but I just picked the ones that were halfway-decent. Or else you'd just drown in photos xD

Oragnised for your convenience. 8D And I used the AKC grouping names to avoid confusion (it's different in NZ).

(and yes... there's a lot more Golden Retriever pics than any other breed... lol)

OK, I don't have time to upload all the pictures today, so here's a small sample of them. I'll upload today's ones and the new ones tomorrow.

Dog Dancing

cool. I've never been to a dog show. Was there any huskys?

Unfortunately the Huskies were on when I wasn't there, so the best I could do was take pics of the Malamutes. However, visit the link below, and see all the best of breed winners.

Looked like a fun show to see! I've never been to a real dog show, though once I almost showed my Siberian husky in a mini dog show.

I love going to dog shows. ^^ But I only go to the Nationals (this show) once every 3 years, when it's in my city.

UPDATE: The Hungarian Puli got Best in Show. ^^ Reserve BIS was the Siberian Husky, which I'm sure you'll all be happy about.
