We can't check every single profile...it would help if people bothered to report profiles with mate content in so that we could get it removed instead of ignoring it. -_-

Maby cause, when the mods asked you to remove the content, you refused. They should of stopped if you removed it.

Okay she did remove it i looked at it she has but she does seem to be the one of the people who has gotten in trouble for putting down some little info that may not even cause a fight so why make a bigdeal if no body got mad at her for putting it up.... yes i know its agenst the rules but it seemed like only sb or rpb is one of the main places they don't want it and that i can understand because of so many fights but no one said anything wrong about her profile im only saying i know its agenst the rules but no one said anything so its not like she upsetting any other people mods yes but why no fights have started and if so im sure she would have took it down then but why not leave the profile alone and if someone complains aboutit then im sure she would understand

I don't talk about mates often, but it is rather unfair that Tarja is gatting constantly reported,.....but if that happens, stop doing it! This is an all-ages site. They can't check every profile, that would be WAY to hard,

Actually a member ended up in very real danger in real life from having a "mate" and a parent did contact the Steet/the site asking why that sort of thing was allowed and that it shouldn't be, hence the ban on "Mates".

Also, no, Moderators cannot and do not read through people's PMs however people can and do report "mates" in PMs and it is strongly encouraged that you DO report anyone talking about mates with you via PMs so that we may warn them and if continued ban them.

Not because we want to "spoil your fun" but to protect the safety of members on Balto/LionKing Source.

In short,any mate content anywhere on the site/forum is forbidden,especially in profiles.

Very well said . Even though I've never put mate content anywhere, I will be honest-At first I too did not understand why mate content had to be totally banned. I thought it was because it was making it a "kid friendly" site, and I could see the logic of it, but I still thought it was a little harsh to COMPLETELY ban it from the site, I mean, it wasn't sexual or anything But now you've told us why it makes perfect sense and it is needed for the saftey of the members on this site. Never, ever, give out your complete details to, or arrange to meet anyone you meet on the internet, without parent's permission. People aren't always who they seem to be- so stay safe.

Do you report people who have them?
Or indeed stop having a 'mate' after you've been in trouble for it?
