I don't get the big deal about this guy. He never lets any of his jokes develop, he has no sense of timing, and he just points obsurdities out instead of observing them.
If you need me, I'll be listening to Lewis Black. One of the only great comedians left.

Most young people. Lewis Black is more of an adult comedian, and becomes funnier as you start to understand the things he says, and how relevant of points he makes. Dane Cook, however, is comedy aimed at a younger crowd who will eventually grow out of him as they mature (much like Pokemon or Barney). It's kinda like how you thought the word, "poop" was funny when you were three. Cook is also aimed at the lowest common denominator (a very large amount of people, sadly), who can be fed crap and think it's pudding.
