That's both cute and kinda pathetic at the same time. I fail to see what's pathetic about it. Then again, my brother and I did something similar. Again, this was a long time ago. Balto has been the one animated movie that's really stuck with me even into my early 20s. I'm the kind of person that looks back on what he did as a kid, and shakes his head in disbelief and amusement at the same time. That's why.

She was always Balto, and I'd always be characters that I made up that he med along the way! X3 We'd get really in depth with our stories too, we'd do like, a story each day,a dn we did it every day. I'm not ashamed to admit that I used to run around on all fours! >3 Can't say I didn't do the same. I feel really weird thinking about times me and my freinds back then would roleplay Balto. I don't know why I liked the movie so much it just somthing I can't explain.

Balto will always make a lasting impression on me, never been moved so much by an animatyed movie (This recently.) The movie taught me a lot of things I already knew I should do or be doing but something about seeing a cartoon wolf dog living through them made a much better impression on me about how to live. Of course it always isn't that easy and I can't follow every great thing about Balto but it's enough to make my life a little more paced and easy to live by

I was waaaay toooo young to understand the true beauty of the film itself. But I used to play Balto and my two other sisters used to play Boris and Jenna. Aah those good old days....! Not! I really enjoy watching it more now that I'm older, I love the last scene of the movie, when the camera goes to the Balto Statue and the song Reach For The Light starts playing... I used to run around on all fours too, I did that whenever I played a dog But we'd have a a lot of fun!

The first time I saw the Balto series was only a few years ago, so i remember it's efect on me quite clearly. I effected me in what I would call a weird way. I'll try to explain it and hopefully it will make sence in the end. I used to be absolutely horrible at anything physical. I wasn't necissarily overwight, but was just plain lazy. After seeing balto, I imagined what it would be like running with Baltos team (in Wings of Change) and how I would just be a complete failure. For some reason after that, that thought stayed in my head and emerged whenever I did something physical. It began with running the mile for school. I was the kid who finished last with a 13+ minute time. I imagined running in the dogsled team, and pushing on even when I wanted to give up. I recieved an 8 minute time on that run. Beat my previous record by over 3 minutes. After that, i really got into sports. I enjoyed playing the game where as before, I'd just be some clown on the field standing around doing anything. Today, I still imaging running in a dogslad team, and the challenge of not giving up because I will let the rest of the team down. My last mile time was 5:13. For a kid who used to dream of getting a time under ten minutes to that is a dream come true, and I owe it to the Balto series.
