A good friend of mine made me an amazing lineart to use (Mezi <333 although she's not on this site) so I played around and made a character from it. There will be more later, but just one for now.
This adoption topic is unique in that it does more than provide an image for you to build on. I give you not just the physical appearance, but the personality and backstory too. All you need to do is make up what happens in the character's life.
RULES-No begging/whining/etc. If you do, instant disqualification.
-No using a lineart for a picture. Renders are accepted
if they are of reasonable quality.-I have the right to take the character back from you if I see fit, and possibly without warning. Don't agree with this rule? Don't adopt from me.
-STEAL THE DESIGNS AND ACTION WILL BE TAKEN
-No changing the name/appearance/history/breed etc. You may as well make your own character.
-(add-on to above rule) Personality changes are allowed as long as they are for a reason. Changing the character from gentle and sweet to mentally insane for no apparent reason is not allowed. If an event occurred to trigger such a change, then that is OK.
-Form must be filled out. No exceptions.
-Write NDS2628 somewhere in your post to prove you read these rules.
-These characters all come with backstories, which, as I stated above, can not be changed.
-I can close this at any time.
-I put a lot of effort into these characters, so I want them to go to the best owner possible. This means that I will be strict, harsh even. If I feel that none of the entries are of a high enough standard, I'll simply not give the character to anywone.
-There is no limit as to how many characters one person can adopt.
-Name changes are allowed.

Name: Ryker
Age: 4 years
Gender: Male
Breed: German Shepherd Dog x Norwegian Elkhound
Personality: Friendly, outgoing, welcoming, fair, respectful. Tries to be friendly to everyone but dislikes those who attack the innocent. Loves all kinds of physical activity, but often feels the strain in his rear legs so he doesn't get as much as he likes.

History: Was bred by two irresponsible dog owners who didn't pay much attention to what their dogs did and didn't care that Ryker's mother was impregnated by the Norwegian Elkhound. When the pups were born, the dam's owner planned to kill them, but when someone showed an interest in the dogs, he decided to sell them for a hefty price. Ryker was bought by a musher who figured he'd be a good sled dog, not knowing that he suffered from hereditary hip dysplasia from his mother's side. When the musher discovered this, he gave the dog away for free, as Ryker was useless to him. The new owner was a dog fighter and used Ryker as a bait dog ("oh, his legs are stuffed, he can't do anything good"). In his first day, Ryker received a serious wound to his eye, and was lucky to not lose his vision in that eye. He now has a scar over it. After that, he knew he had to escape the fighting ring and, in his second fight, used his powerful and well-muscled front legs to his advantage. He got away from the ring, and has been living on the streets ever since. Despite all he's been through, Ryker still has a forgiving attitude, and is well-respected by other dogs.

Personality: Level-headed, calm, hates fighting and being under pressure. Always thinks before acting, and never starts fights. Ever. Wants to be friends with everyone she meets, but can be shy and doesn't always know how to act around others. Pretty much really sweet, lol

History: Was bred as a police dog, but wasn't as tenacious as she should have been, so the police force didn't bother going through with her training. At the moment they don't quite know what to do with her, so CZ feels the police dog academy isn't a home to her, and the one thing she wants is a real home. To make matters worse, the other police dogs alienate her and make fun of her for not being like them.
Other: I have no idea what CZ stands for. The adopter can decide.

Gender: Female
Breed: Border Colle mix
Personality: Fiercely loyal. Will do literally anything to fight for a cause, and that includes killing a trespasser. Takes orders often, doesn't think for herself a lot, because defending livestock is all she's ever known.

Offspring: Up for adopter to decide
History: Has lived on a farm her whole life, defending livestock against intruders such as humans and wolves. She lives with the animals all day and all night, only interacting with her owner when she gets fed each night. 24 hours a day she's alert, watching for the slightest upset in the flock, ready to attack. Recently, though, she has found herself more and more curious about the life of the wolf, and more drawn to them...
