I've seen many topics on this forum locked lately, one of them including mine. And many of them are for the same reasons. (you could only guess) And every time I look at a locked topic, it's locked because of almost the same people making flame wars. I won't say any names. (you know who you are.)

And by the way, this topic better not turn into a flame war. That is my rule for this topic.

My point is, people need to watch what they type in the forums. If they know they are causing a flame war, than don't continue it. Have some common sense, and most of all, some respect for other peoples topics. You're old enough to know that in some situations you only get one warning, and in some situations you don't get any warnings.

So, that being said, if a mod says to watch what you type because it's turning into a flame war, than humor the mod and cut it out! No one wants their topic locked because of people causing flame battles.

A very good point,people do need to watch what they type,what might seem good to one person,might not be good to another person.

If it's the same people causing the same problems, the best thing to do is to not reply to them, and simply report them. More often than not, people cause problems just to see a response, so don't give them the satisfaction.

It seems to be the problem here. People need to learn to respect other peoples opinions.

I am never really there to report to a mod whenever a flame battle takes place, besides my own topic. I wasn't thinking of reporting that person before, probably because it was like three people causing the flame battle.

I see. Well regardless, I think some people need to be reminded again how annoying flame battles can be.

I didn't really think of looking for a similar topic while writing this.
