I'm currently planning a story mixing Balto and Transformers, possibly Transformers Animated. I'd also like to do some fanart in that area as well. I'm thinking about using the Autobot Bumblebee, but I'm not sure whether to use his live-action version or the new animated one. I've also come up with a dog character. He's a malemute named Yukon, and he also happens to be Steele's brother. He likes Balto, and LOVES to play practical jokes whenever he gets a chance. He looks like Steele except that his legs are black with white paws and he has a black face with a white stripe going down between his eyes. If anyone has any suggestions, whether about storyline, character design, or anything else, please let me know. I'm open to all comments, constructive or otherwise.

Sounds good. Coincidentally, I'm also planning a crossover. It will be a different storyline and use somewhat different characters (depending on the reader's definition). It will be in "episodes" and will be rated PG-13 due to some blood or character deaths. I don't know about the blood, but we'll see. Characters are anthro and Steele will also have a son, but his will look exactly like his father's and he will have a build similar to Kodi's. Name will be different, but I will reveal it another time. Anything else? Oh yes! Characters (with the exception of Muru) will be anthro. Will mostly feature Balto's kids because (spoiler alert) Balto and Jenna are among those who get killed at some point. Will tell more later.

Glad to know there's another TF fan on this site.

Lance - you just resurrected a topic which is four years OLD, and hasn't had a post since that time. You really shouldn't be doing that. This topic is long dead, and probably the whole concept as well.

(I do not see how this could work anyway. The Transformers is a science fiction setting with futuristic robots visiting the late 20th/early 21st centuries. The milieu of the Balto cartoon movies, as based upon the true story, is set in the early 20th century, and there isn't a shred of science fiction or advanced technology in it.

Plausibility - the key to solid writing. Even in settings such as these.)

We need to leave this alone and probably the topic needs to be locked.
