Because today's Disney would do anything for money, thats why their ratings are going down.

The only good thing Disney has put in theaters recently has been Rataouille, they have gotten away from what made Disney great, now it's just not the same anymore, that magical feeling seems non-existant.

I agree that ratatoullie was great... and they should do more animated films. but, about a month ago, i read the movie book of Beverly Chihuaha, and didn't think it was that bad. but now that i, too have seen the comercials, I'm starting to think differently. It's not the storyline that bothers me as much as all the cgi that is used in the film. What happened to things like homeward bound, where no cgi is used?but that's my thoughts.

Exactly! Homeward Bound was a beautiful movie. Personaly, I think the movie was artistic in the way the animal's lips didn't move. Now, Disney thinks kids won't like a movie unless it has gangster rap and overused fart jokes and slapstick puns.

Slapstick puns? Never heard of one of those.

i hate cgi.

it ruins wholesome movies. and get this, even some directors of movies hate to use it, including the director of herbie fully loaded and 102 dalmatians. they said they hate it and only use it when they ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. but, then again, if disney stuck to animation, we could just aviod cgi in disney movies altogether...

If you actually go and see this movie alot of real dogs are used....the only cgi is of course the action scenes and mouth movements, because face it,dogs and stuff do not talk. However I am almost positive the rat and iguana were cgi.
This movie overall is no where as near as bad as that dumb WHAT can make you move?Chiuahaha! crap of a trailer they made and to be honest it did kinda show the truth about the way people with money treat their animals and that dogs need adopting.

Now it wasnt the greatest movie but,it was cute. I don't see why so many people got their panties in a bunch. Its definantly not the worst disney film ever and its definantly not something like balto 2 and 3 which just seems way to sickly for kids that its not worth watching.
Thats my opinion though.

i mean, if the story's good, i can get past the cgi, but, to answer your question, yes, the rat and lizard or iguana or whatever it is are completely cgi. please watch the language about ladies underware, rosetta.

Ummm its just an expression....its not an insult. Its a nicer way to say something. Im just getting sick of people throwing fits over fictional movies. I could of said something alot more rude instead of what I said but, that probably would have got me banned. Sorry if it offended you but,it wasn't directed at you but, more everyone who throws a fit about movies. Nit-picking. Its the term used for when people just find everything they don't like in a movie instead of just accepting the movie for what its worth.
