I'm a huge Death Note fan, and I am absolutely on L's side. He's just so adorable, and in my opinion, much more morally sound than Light was. I actually got my hair cut and dyed black to look like L's, and sometimes I wear a long-sleeved white shirt and jeans so I can look like L. It's a lot of fun, and my friends are all into it too.

We don't really go to conventions or anything (we'll probably wait until we're older when we can pay for it and drive there ourselves instead of relying on our parents) but we have gone out cosplaying in other public places before. It's completely awesome when someone actually recognizes us.

I have seenThe whole series plus The 2 movies. And I loved it. Death notes are Serious Business.
I know a few people here that wish they had one.

Oh, by the way, last night I went to see the second movie (it was a special two-night-only showing of the movie in select theaters; it was dubbed too!) with a friend. IT. WAS. AWESOME! I think it was better than the first one, and gave a much more satisfying conclusion to the story of Death Note than the series did. I cosplayed L there, and got to chat with other fans while we waited for it to start and after it was over.
