--This is the second part of my series of Balto--

Its been one year since Balto and Jennie(Jenna) met... Since their noses bumped in that alley.
Now, as Balto walks down the empty streets of Nome- he can feel all the memories bursting out of his mind. Clashing in with the thought of their 7 mouth old children. All six of them, grown up-

The only part that he tries to forget, is Steele... Abusing and breaking Jennie, Balto sent him running.
Running, straight for the forest- that is. No one knows what happened to him... Because he never made it out alive to tell the tale!
"I'll be back!" Steele laughed insanely, but Balto knew it wasn't true...

But that was in the past, now... Or so Balto thought.

His mind was stuck on the joyful day- for this was the day that Balto and Jennie's love became whole. The only thing is, Jennie didn't keep track of the days. She had no clue that today was something special for them. But- that was part of Balto's plan. A big surprise, is all the more special!

But, as Balto wondered the lonely Streets... He finds its not so lonely, when he gets snatched by the dog pound and put in- well, you should know where.
The pound.
He had been put in the area read, "Wold hall: DANGER"
Balto sat alone, waiting for to be saved, when he lifted his head to see in the cage in front of him... A dark form. Who could he be...?
This strange dog will unlock the true past of Steele- what what no one ever said.

History: ...As soon as birth, he was abandoned by his father. Of course, thats what everyone expected- we has considered a good for nothing dog, where he grew up. "Scared and shiverin', that dog ran off like a jack rabbit." said his mother, the leader of the Northern wolf pack. when he was just a kid- he always looked up to being hte next leader of the pack. But as he grew older, he fell more in love with the idea of setting of to go find his father. The trader who left his mother.
Why? Becasue he wanted to met the dog who was sick enough to say he was in love with a wolf and run away, just like that. So he ran away to Nome. To spend his life, looking for one dog.

Actually, in my story, Jennie is brown and white, and Balto is black and white.
When I was righting the first story, I always kept saying "his grey fur" and then I came back later like dangit I did it again! lol

Anyways, I just wanted to yet ya'll guys see the first little bit of what I'm working on so far of the actual story (Part 2, that is)

Just a warning, don't be shocked at first- becuase the original story is a musical!

Heres what I got:

Gentle butterflies found their was across the field- The sun was just barely peeking past the mountains. The colors of the sky- Golden, orange, yellow red and blue. . . It struck hope and courage into our eyes.
The grass sparkles of these colors as the single green strands lay, spread out tall. Covered in due, a single drop fell onto the foggy ground. It was so peaceful, you could practically feel the grass growing. Though, the fog grew thinner. To the west, the trees in the forest began to glow as well. . . You could hear the angels from above singing as if Heaven was just past the mist. Fall was just around the corner, and if you were there, I’d bet you that you’d be able to hear, The Sound Of The Lights. . .


“? Knowing rather then showing off, everyone just plays it soft- ”
“? Kind of in the sweetest way, I know that we’ll get their some day! Just see it from my angle, in every way! ?” Sang to voices, Balto and Jennie- of course. They sat on a mountain top, watching the sunrise yet again. They found it to be their daily routine.
“ ? Don’t give it up-”
“? Don’t give it up! Not when you’ve got all your life to spend, keep turning ‘til you see the burning SUN! ?”
“If you’ve never cared enough to tell, why let this problem get in the way? You’ll get out of the shadows, SOME DAY! -”
“? And if you fell, I’d be there to catch you, always! ?”
“? ALWAYS! ?”

“Mother, Father? What are you to doing this time?” Asked a sleepy voice.
“Ya’ll do know its like, six in the morning, right?” He added.
“Oh, Ozzie- well if its so early, why are you up?” Jennie replied.
“Uh. . . Because of you two.” Ozzie moaned.
“Oh, sorry, honey!” She giggled. “Are your brothers and sisters up? Tiezy, Marshall, Uoy, Victor E. and Fystal! Come on out!”
She shouted, and all five teenage wolf/dogs came piling out of an abandoned bear cave.
“Yes Mama!”
“Yes Ma’am!” Called their voices. “Is it time to eat?!” Called a female tomboy voice they all knew as Uoy.
“Yeah, when’s the eatin’ gunna get here?” Marshall jumped in.
“Well, ladies and gentleman, your butler hasn’t even left.” Balto said. It had seemed none of them even noticed Balto sitting there. “Calm down, I’ll be back from town in no time. No, wait- hold that thought. I’ll need some time off today- considering that Boris needs me.”
“For what?”
“Why?” Called all the voices. But Balto just rolled his eyes and hurried down the short mountain.
“Guys- your father is very busy, let him take his mind off of you guys for today so he can work with some problems, and stay out of his business- please?” Jennie asked kindly.
“I wonder what he’s doing, anyways. . .”
“Now, now. Mother, remember, let him have his space.” Marshall smiled, and the whole pack giggled.

Balto took a deep breath as he took his time walking down the snow-covered streets. Memories kept flashing by, he could recall the very same way he felt the day he fell in love. He could feel the rhythm pounding in his feet, every step he took like giant drums- as it crawled it was up passed his heart and out of him mouth, he gave a wild leap and flew into the air for what felt like forever as he smiled,
“? Back to the past! I wish it could last- Forever! But I know its just now how the rhythm goes! I just can‘t tell if its time, to come home. . . Have you left me? Its hard to tell, just from this memory! JUST FROM THIS MEMORY! -Is this who you are, now? Shall I come home? Do you need time? Yeah, we need time! Baby! J-j-just maybe!
Can you feel that rhythm? Can you feel your heart beat?
Tick, tock!
Tick, tock!
Where have you been, over all time? Yeah, all the memories. . .
I though you were gone. . . For sure!
You’ve lost track of time, I feel this is how it goes-
Stop. . .
While I take this moment to, realize! Where have you been? Where have you gone with The

Yeah, she’s gone! Your voice hasn‘t changed, oh, yeah- what happened to the memories? What have you done to me? YEAH! They can’t get passed my brain, the image, OF YESTERDAY!
. . .Tick, tock.
Tick, tock.
You can’t get passed the clock! Where have you been, in time. . . All of my memories? The day that we met, I barely remember. . . Yet- when I come to this same place, I see it loud and clear! THERE IS NO FEAR! ..When the sound of your voice is near. ?” Balto turned his head up to find himself under the same building where Balto and Jennie fell asleep that night- we could feel every feeling he did before, all the memories struck his mind. . . For today was a special day. It has been one year since they first met. . . And today that was official. Snow was just barely starting to come down at this time of year, yet it is still so early in Fall.
Balto had kept track of all the days- but he didn’t think that Jennie even noticed.
Under the dusty light, he pushed the same colorful broken bottles under as well- and the magic came to life.
