Why did Scar put you in the cage instead of eating you after he murdered Mufasa?
Good question, my dear!
About 2 years after Mufasa's death and Simba's disappearance, I was flying through the Pridelands when I saw King Scar in a rather unusual place for a king to be. He was down in a deep ravine having a heated, whispered chat with a few hyena's that I had never seen before. Usually, I would have just flown on my way, minding my own business... but I was just so curious. So I perched in an ecacia tree within earshot of them. I heard Scar whispering to the hyenas the new, strict, (ridiculous in my opinion) law of the Pridelands and how they had to do what he says
when he says it. They started to whine and protest, when Scar roared in a dramatic whisper:
"
I am to be obeyed! I'm the one who killed Mufasa and Simba, therefore
I am the Kinga! You simpletons did nothing of use! You are lucky to even be alive, because if it weren't for me you'd be dead!"
I let out a gasp, which I regretted doing instantly, for Scar looked up at me and saw me perched there. He had his hyena companions catch me before I could get away. He had thought about killing me... but realized that if he did, than the lioness's would notice that I was gone. So he decided to put me in a cage, away from everyone else except him... for months and months and months.

Was Sarabi grateful that you put your wing on her paw,or didn't she notice that you did?
She thanked me for doing that a few days later. She was so beside herself with greif that she couldn't talk, eat, or sleep for days. Poor thing. I was upset as well, but I can't even began to imagine the pain that she went through.
