Animation Source Forums

Quite often I look around on the forum and see same old suggestions being repeated over and over. Ideas Steet has already used on the forum being repeated. Majority of the time the suggestions are really pointless, needed to be reported and then eventually locked up. Usually the reason of the constant suggestion is to either promote themselves as being helpful. Or too boost up their Post count for the forum and which is wrong. So don't you agree and feel this should be stopped?

I agree. To me, they think if they can just keep posting something that is helpfull, that they will become a mod. I don't really know. But all I know is that, this is getting old...

That assertion is very unwarranted. Suggesting things that have already been implemented can be a mistake. Perhaps they overlooked it?

Anyhow, in my opinion, the suggestion board should under no circumstances be changed/altered/removed etc. It is the public's voice to the administrators on how to improve the site, and for members to add their opinions of how to change something. The bad suggestions Mohammad891 is talking about cannot really be stopped without restricting in some way other members' use of that board. Leave it be.

Yes, I agree, it can get very annoying. It is also classed as spamming, (As I'm sure you know, Mo') so I believe we have the right to report them. That's really the only solution until they get the point.

What I also find annoying is when someone makes a great suggestion that is then copied.

Well I do agree that it's kind of annoying. But like Ghost said, you cannot forbid members from posting threads regarding site improvements etc. This might happen cause people often don't look at the old Topics, or don't realise the option they're asking for already exists etc etc.
So yeah, I agree that it should be left as it is.

Uh....that's kind of irrelevant to the Topic, and I am giving out all of my doubts about that being the reason of the numerous suggestions posted.
