(If you read the book, let me know, if not, heres a summary of the book, turned into wolf form. XD.)
Now, if you want to read this book, I advise you NOT to read the summary... cuz it gives everything away. XD Also, this is a summary of the ENTIRE Rp. The Main Plots are in this, as well as the ending ect. basicly, were just filling in the details and changing them to match our own ideas, but with the same basic plot in mind.
The story begins with a "phone call" or messanger sent from Caitlin (can be changed, but for now that IS her name.) to Vix (Who is really Nyxiern, but she calls herself Nyx). Caitlin calls to tell Nyx that she is wedding, or bonding for life with Nyx's ex-boyfriend and first love, Bru (thats his name in the book, it can be changed). Nyx is shocked and becomes sick with the news. (The two are seperated now, Vix is working as a lead huntress in a pack miles away from Caity.
Flashback: Now is Nyx's family and first encounter with Caity. Nyxs's homelife consists of her controlling mother, Tawny(whom is very up tight, and bitter and is against Nyx leaving), an average-joe father (who is not a big part of the story and he is the one who convinces Tawny to let Nyx go with Caity), and three younger siblings, Lanie, Lewis, and Nyx's favorite, her wheelchair-bound brother Nathan. Tawny works for a Countess (AKA the Eldest and wisest of the pack, also holds the most power) and is always making Nyx feel as though she is not good enough. Then Nyx meets Caitlin at her pupsitters, and Caitlin invites Nyx to come to Martha's Vineyard with her for the summer. This is when Nyx's whole world is turned upside down.(Note: Caitlin is visiting her travelish mother who doesnt believe she is a very good mom... she always has tones of part-time mates, shall we say, and in the summer, Caitlin goes to stay with her father)
After much debate, Nyx convinces Tawny and her father to let her go with Caitlin. Nyx travels out East from her New Mexico homestead and meets Caitlin's family: her laid-back father, Lambert "Lamb" Somers (can be changed), her brother "Sharkey"(can be changed, but it has to be a nickname... like.. "stray" or "fang" ), and Trish (can be changed), an ex-girlfriend of Lamb's who is still close with him, but has recently been replaced by Abby(can be changed), a woman who means well but whom (random secret word: I like Rainbows) Caitlin dislikes. Abby's son, Daniel, and his friend, Gus, also vacation with Caitlin's family. This section of the book focuses on the mishaps and adventures that the kids go through, including Nyx and Caitlin and their crushes on two older boys, Joseph "Bru" Brudegher (can be changed) and his cousin, Von (can be changed).
Stay with me now.
When the summer ends, Caitlin and Nyx remain friends and continue to attend schooling together. They make it a tradition for Nyx to spend every summer with Caitlin from then on, hence the "Summer Sisters." Eventually, Nyx hooks up with Bru and Caitlin with Von. Then Nyx makes out with Von while "drunk". (THIS SCENE WILL BE SKIPPED. as in.. some kind of sentance like "something bad happened that night") She thinks that Caitlin set up the whole scenario and they get into a huge argument. Just prior to her senior year of Training to be a huntress, Nyx's beloved brother Nathan succumbs to his physical disabilities and dies as a result, leaving Nyx (second secred word: I also Like Cookies) devastated. Nyx's younger sister, Lanie, becomes pregnant and has her first child, and Lewis joins the military. As the girls mature, they encounter their first love/fling experiences (Caitlin with an Italian ski-instructor, then Von, supposedly) and Nyx's in-depth and long-term relationship with Bru, which continues into her college years when she attends schooling on a scholarship from The Somers Foundation. Caitlin is accepted to Wellesley College but chooses not to attend and travels abroad.
Nyx goes to (lets say a good huntress training school) while still remaining in a relationship with Bru. She makes new friends, most notably Maia ( May change) , her uptight roommate whose worrisome ways begin to grow on Nyx, but they become close. However, things turn sour when Nyx realizes she doesn't know what she wants in life and she and Bru temporarily break up during her Junior year of school. A few months later, a passionate meeting leads to their renewed faithfulness, but all's well does not end well. Just before graduation, Bru asks Nyx to 'marry him', but she says no after realizing that they do not want the same things in life. Nyx misses Bru, but moves (secret word three: I love cupcakes) on and casually dates other people, whilst Caitlin has numerous realationships while she travels. The girls keep in loose contact over the years, each becoming busy with her own life until the fateful day when Caitlin makes that phone call and tells Nyx about her upcoming Marriage to Bru.
Caitlin invites Nyx to the wedding, and she decides to go, only to end up sleeping with Bru the night before. Then, Nyx discovers that Bru took not only her first love (*cough cough*) but Caitlin's as well. As Bru thinks in the book, "he loves them both... he is glad they have decided for him [who he will be with.]" Caitlin and Bru get married nonetheless, and Caitlin has a daughter, Somers Mayhew Brudegher, whom they call "Maizie." (whom wont be rped, really.) Nyx, meanwhile, reconnects with Abby's son Daniel's friend, Gus, whom she spent all those summers with years ago at the vineyard. She and Gus (May change) slowly fall in love and eventually get married as well. In the final chapters, Nyx visits Caitlin again after Caitlin has a breakdown and leaves her family, her marriage to Bru ending in divorce and Bru marrying Star, a local islander. (secret word four: Chocolate cupcakes) Nyx is pregnant with her first child at this time, a baby boy to be named Nate in honor of her late brother. Caitlin and Nyx's meeting is relaxed and the two end up pledging to be best friends forever with each one truly grateful for the other's presence in her life.
In the end, Nyx is enjoying married life and motherhood when she and everyone else learn that Caitlin disappears in an alleged boating accident... she was in a boat by herself and that was the last time anyone ever saw her, as the boat turned up empty with Caitlin unaccounted for. There is no clear reason on the true reasons behind Caitlin's disappearance, as no body is discovered and there is no damage or foul play, leading to choose between the possibilities that Caitlin purposely vanished from her family and friends or perhaps she did indeed drown. The closing thought is Nyx's recount of her "summer sister" and the memories they will always share, and wishing that things could have ended differently.

Age: When we begin, she will be just a pup. About 5 months old ish.
Gender: She is a Fae.
Looks: Pure Black, Orange eyes.
Personality: Smart, Whitty, shy untill she knows you. Protective over Nathan, her brother, and 'specially Caitlin.
Crush: Will be Bru.
Mate: Will be Bru for a short time, but then her life partner will be Gus.

Mate: Her life partner is eventually Bru... but she leaves him and dissappears.

Age: we meet him when the girls are atleast 1. Making him about 2 1/2 ish.
Gender: Male
Looks: I picture him as a brown wolf With black patches on his eyes and the end of his tail. I picture him with green eyes. (May Change.)
Personlity: VERY sweet, not very shy, but not outgoing, likes to flirt mostly with Nyx at first he thinks the girls are two young, but then decides he likes them, mostly Nyx, as they are. He occasionally flirts with Caity too, before He and Nyx are together.
Crush: Both, more towards Nyx, though.
Mate: Life partner is Caity at first, then Star.
Name: Von (change)
Age: We'll make him 3 or almost 3. Alittle older then Bru.
Gender: Male
Personality: Silly, Very flirtacious, sexy like, loves girls and will do ANYTHING for Caity.
Crush: Both, more Caity.
Mate: His Life Partner will be at the Caity's wedding. They break up when she leaves, but he still hangs around other faes and bru.
Gus, You can make up entirely yourself. However, he ALWAYS had a crush on Nyx, he just never displayed it. He ALWAYS thought about her, so make sure you Rp that with him.
Abby, Trish, Lamb, Sharkey and Maia are all pretty low-key characters. If you wish to take one of their parts, you may. If not, then I shall play them.
