I draw a wolf eye with Adobe Photoshop CS 2. What do you think about this picture?

Pretty much the same as I said in another topic.
"I would suggest looking at some photographs as a reference to see how the muscles in the face define where the shading would be.
Also, I'd use a base colour first, a medium brown in this case and then chose a slightly lighter and slightly darker shade for the fur and then another even lighter and even darker shade for extra shading and highlights to add some extra depth to the fur.
There are also many good fur tutorials on deviantART which can also help."
This is really good though, keep practicing!

The eye needs be rounder, the edges are too triangle shaped, I assume you were going to for grey so I would lay down a few different shades of grey, dark to lighting, light to dark, pick one, depending on the lighting. I would suggest a dark grey, then a few shades of lighter grey, pull the fur colour from that, and go dark to light. The base of the strand of hair is going to be dark and as it goes up lighter. Here are some excellent examples of pupil/iris colours and also the shape of the eyes. Beautiful tutorial: http://daisy7.deviantart.com/art/Animal ... l-22290418Reference, Reference, Reference. www.flickr.com is a beautiful site for references as well as www.corbis.com

Would you kindly stop giving her a critique? She did an amazing job. No one is perfect, like you! If you don't like it, you should be quiet. She is only starting. I'm sure that you guys could draw it like that too, when you were a begining artist. So stop critique. She did it HER way. And I love it. I shouldn't do it better

MOSer---> It was a friendly critique, she can choose to take the advice or not. When I was starting out, I would have loved critique, it helps artists improve, it's not to bring them down.

I agree very much with Drew - the tear duct (the part in front) is a tad long, and the back end of the eye is quite sharp. Also, Drew pointed out some notes on the fur - darker at the base, where there is more of it create some shadow, and lighter at the tip. This is a very nice tutorial here on fur: http://facetaiheiyo.deviantart.com/art/ ... -100184084Overall, good start - eyes are one of the most difficult aspects of painting/drawing/etc... a character. The fur also takes lots of practice (and refferencing!) but it's very well worth it in the end ~Koey

Thank you and MOSer, thanks but i like to get critique. I think i will do another picture. It will be a whole wolf, not a part of him.
