I'm sorry, but no. There's already enough moderators on this website. We don't need any more.
If Steet (or Togo) believes that someone on this website can handle being a moderator, they give them a private message asking them if they would like to be one. But really, there's enough moderators already.
Edit: Are you sure you're an old member? 'Cause last time I checked, old members joined back in '04, '05, and sometimes '06... It says you joined in '08, unless you deleted your account, which is pretty useless. Why even delete your account in the first place if you're going to keep coming back on this website anyway? And even if you have had an account before this one, everyone else will still think you're a newer member. 'Kay? And when will people learn to stop asking to be a mod?

Sacrament of Wilderness wrote: well it is only a suggestion xd no harm done But why do you really want to be a moderator so bad? I just don't get it. So many members these days just beg to be a moderator, but why?! What's so bad about being a regular member? Being a regular member is less work. And so what if you don't get a green name? And being a moderator isn't just about banning and being a leader to others. There's much more to that. You need to know alot about the website. Not just a few things.

Like most people have said, we don't need anymore mods, yes say if steet started a new mod group, but chances are, there just going too put mods who are already mods in that group. Mayeb inactiveness by some mods should be tackled, but I feel no more moderators are needed, at the moment, not untill we increase in trolls and stuff.

Many ask to be mod, but when they become, they realize it's not that an easy task. I just have to take the webrankers example : they are not mods, but half of the members in this group are not doing their job, while they asked to become webranker. Anyway, no, the staff need to choose who among the members can become moderators, not the other way round.

Now, at the moment, i'm probably at a time where if steet/Togo PM'ed me to be a mod, I would say no:
Reason: I know that I wont be able to do the job for long, since I am already pushed for time, when I go back to school and get less time on my computer, I probably would not be able to get on the site much. So.

So. Not to cause problems, but what does this have to do with starfire's situation? On the account of the discussion of "I want to be a mod" and "people asking to be a mod"
