Hodges crept across the tree limb eyeing the bushy-tailed squirrel in front of him. He'd been after the animal for over an hour with no luck at all. He did recieve some bumps and bruises in the process but overall, he was ok.
Hodges was about to pounce when he realized that another feline was below him. Ignoring the kitty scent, Hodges lept only to land with a thud on the ground.
"Are you ok?" asked a high-pitched voice.
Hodges looked up to see a white and brown female cat towering over him with a concerned look in her eyes.
"I'm fine." Hodges growled.
The cat just stood there for a moment.
"I'm Snow." she finally said. Hodges, in reply, rolled his eyes and sprang to his paws. First, this cat had cost him his kill of the day, and now she's introducing herself as if trying to act innocent. Well, she just wasn't making Hodges' day any better.
The Snow cat shuffled her paws. "Would you like to come over to my house?" Snow wondered. "I live with other cats..."
Hodges whipped around.
"No thank you very much." he snarled turning back around. Hodges began to walk away. Snow stopped him.
"Well, if you want to come over then, I live in that yellow house." she said catching up with Hodges.
He looked up.
He gulped.
I queesy feeling overwhelmed Hodges' stomack because when he looked up he saw his house- and the yellow house.

Snow cocked her head. "Hodges please don't stand with your mouth opwn it's rude." Snow said closing his mouth.
Hodges shook his head.
"I...I just want to go home." he said brushing past Snow.
Snow followed.
"Not before you meet my family." Snow mewed.
Hodges could tell that Snow was enjoying this. "Alright fine!" he snapped. "But under one condition: Don't bother me any more after this understand?" Snow nodded.
The female feline lead Hodges towards the yellow house. Hodges had to admitt, the house was very pretty- and very small.
Snow rapped on the door with her paw. A young teenage girl opened the door. She had dark brown hair and matching eyes.
"This is Marnie." Snow said. "She's my owner," Marnie looked at Hodges. "Come on in guys." she said. The cats walked inside. There, Hodges saw bunches of cats eating, sleeping, or playing.
"These are the cats you live with?" Hodges said wincing.
Snow nodded.
"Yup. They can be obnoxious but I still like them!"
Three kittens walked up to them. Two were pink and white and the other was a striped tabby.
"The pink ones are Crystal and Cotton Candy. The tabby is Bramble." Snow explained.
Without saying a word, the kittens vanished out of site. Well, atleast into the second room.
In just a few seconds, Hodges had learned that Tiger and Midnight were mates. Their children were Cotton Candy and Bramble.
Picnic was Tiger's mom and Snow was Picnic's foster-child.
Christmas was mates with Lavender (a cat that lived with Hodges) and her kitten was Crystal.
Hodges sighed with relief when Snow finished with the brief introduction. "All right Hodges." Snow meowed. "NOW you can go home,"
Hodges smiled and thanked Snow before exiting the house and making his way across the lawn.
Suddenly, Hodges realized that he had a sort of liking towards Snow and her family. He didn't know why he was feeling this way but he did know for sure that he liked them more than you could imagine.
