Adoption System(Read First!!!)
* Adoption Rules vary with the different breeds. I am very aware of them, and I will take full action (
DISQUALIFICATION) if any are broken, and not amended by the perpetrator.
* At the top of each section for the breeds you will find a Rating. Why is this here? I have rated the breeds for yours, and my own, convenience based on adoption difficulty. For instance, one breed may have more details, or more complex design than another. In short, the more highly rated animals will be much more difficult to adopt than lower-rated animals on this topic. Therefore, you must be an advanced adopter (do not ask me wether you are or not!), meaning you will:
- use the breed (I will take the higher-rated ones away if you do not)
- give me a good bio with correct gramar and an idea for the characters life that is consistant with the breed's tendencies, instincts, and habitual lifestyle
- give me a picture with correct anatomy and correct design.
Usually the bios you have to fill out for the highly rated breeds are more complex, and maybe I will require more pictures to be submitted. *shrugs*
* The ammount of animals you can adopt will vary with the breed
* If you wish to make your own creature of my invention, see the 'Make Your Own' section at the end of this post.
* I take suggestions, but not all. See 'Suggestions' below.
* I am
so sick of having to scroll all over the topic looking for unattatched bios and pics! People,
Attatch your bios and pics on one post!!!!!!! I swear, I get so ticked when I can't find and judge all your entrys! Just do yourself a favor (it'd make me happy too y'know), attatch all your entrys. -_-"
* C'mon. Do I need to say it? You guys aren't 6 year olds. Act your age! No whining, fighting, flaming, asking me to make the one you didn't get a sister. Bleh. ><
Failure to comply with these, or ANY, rules on the topic will ultimatly have your adoption chances severely lowered, or hey: maybe I'll just DQ you. :]
Lastly, I want you guys to
have fun! It may seem like a lot of rules, but really its so easy a monkey could do it.

Ah well...Have fun guys!!! ^^

Breed #1: Kishroos
Rating: 2 (slightly easy)
General Info about Kishroos: **All information applys to kishroos from batches two and all that come after it.**Breed: kishroo (keesh'*roo). Plural form- kishroos
Life span: Average life span for a male- 20 years; for a female- 18
Description Medium-sized carniverous mammals with an extra toe on the back of each leg, retractable claws, and are gererally characterized by feline-like ears, long tails, and slender muzzles. Their overall appearence can be changed depending on the sub-species they belong too.
*
Arctic kishroo- pointed ears, long tuffed feline tail. Large paws, usually more fur than an average kishroo. Usually spotted or striped.
*
Peruvian Kishroo- large rounded ears, long limbs, long tail. Usually maned. Bright colors to attract their prey.
*
Sand 'Dog', or Desert Kshroo- slender build, more pointed ears, extreemly long tail. Muscular. Dull colors.
*
Common Kishroo- feline ears, bushy tail. Colors are closest to domestic dogs and/or cats.
All sub-species of kishroos can and are refered to simply as 'kishroos'.
Technical Terms: Scientific name:
suvacuuspollex crocutaNo one knows what category kishroos belong in, seeing as they are most genetically related to hyenas in terms of bone structure, but clearly manifest canine and feline atributes. Their young are refered to as kits. Males are called 'toms' and females are 'queens'.
Genetics: Kishroos are shy and vunerable creatures most of the time, refering to stay out of human contact. They are solitary hunters, brought living alone unless with their mate or offspring. They are wide-spread, and have adapted to their enviroment appropriatly.
*
Arctic Kishroo; suvacuuspollex frigesco- As the name states, they are found in the arctic areas of northern Canada, Engand, and Russia. They live in small, used ice burrows and sleep most of the day. They can with stand outrageous temperatures and hibernate at appropriate intervals in the seasons.
*
Peruvian Kishroo; suvacuuspollex volucris- Found exclusivly in South America in rainforrests. They are the rarest of the species and have been hunted easily due to their very conspicuous fur. They are expert swimmers, prefering to live close to marshes or riverbeds. They abide in treetops where their main prey thrive.
*
Desert Kishroo; suvacuuspollex sabulum- Blend in easily with their surroundings in the African/ Arabian deserts. Desert kishroos can live many weeks without water due to their unique persperation systm that recycles used moisture. They have slender, muscular limbs in order to achive the needed speed and power to chase down their quick prey.
*
Commo Kishroo; suvacuuspollex docilis- Found in cooler climates in deducious forrests throughout the U.S, China, Mongolia, and Europe. They have adapted tones and patterns that help them blend in with their more domestic surroundings. Coyote attacks and raids are actually often the work of common kishroos. They live in hollowed out burrows.
Gestation, Breeding: Typical breeding of kishroos is through early spring to late summer. Litter sizes range from 2, (more common with arctic or Peruvian kishroos) to 6 (average for desert kishroos).
The females are ready to breed at the age of 2, and have a gestation period of 6 months. Kishroos mate for life, and more than often the male of a pair watch the young while the female hunt. Kishroos can produce fertile offspring when mated with hyenas, canines, and felines.
Young kishroos leave their parents when they are or breeding age during the spring, when they get their first urge to find a mate.
Diet: Diets range from subspecies. Kishroos generally have incredibly strong jaws, able to break bones like they are toothpicks. Kishroos don not hunt in packs, prefering to do so with their mates and select offspring.
*
Arctic kishroos- Reindeer, arctic hare, moose, rodents, caribou, ox, livestock
*
Peruvian kishroo- Peruvian kishroos are unique in tha they have relitivly weak jaws from always hunting such small, weak animals. Their prey includes mostly insects of various shapes and size, which is whatthey need to be brightly colored for in order to attract them, along with small amphibians, monkeys, and rodents.
*
Desert kishroo- Desert kishroos are immune to scorpion and snake poison. They eat jack rabbits, hares, rodents, snakes, available insects, and small deer and desert antelope.
*

Breed #2: Durungees
Rating: 3(moderate)
Update, 9/15/08:
New breed everyone!!! Durungees(c)White Wolf's Moon!! xD I worked really hard on these designs, so I want
good, origional bios people! And absolutely no cruddy pics. I=[ Draw them to the best or your abilities. ^^
General Info about Durungees:Breed: Durungee (dur*oon'*jee). Plural form- durungees/ durungi. Most commonly related bears.
Life span: Average life span for a male- 25 years; for a female- 30
Description An average fully-grown adult durungee stands at 5.5 feet. They are characterized by their long, tuffed ears and three hoof-like toes on their back legs. A wide variety of colors are found in their pelts, but usually they only have two main colors, i.e., different shades of cream and green.
Technical Terms: The scientific name for a durungee is
Nigeroculous Lupusequus. Durungee offspring are refered to as 'nivoculs'. Males
under the age of 3 months are called 'curtrums' and females under the age of 3 months are known as 'repleotas'. Fully grown females are called 'Eras', and males are called 'Erus'. A wolf-durungee cross is refered to as a durwolf. A dog-durungee cross is known as a dogungee. Any offspring that has wolf or dog blood in it is simply called a pup.
Genetics: Durungees are docile creatures usually, their main 'purpose', or drive, is to protect. This can sometimes be copied wrong on the genetic code, and turned into the malice gene. This simply means that the durungees are much more prone to violence and irrational behaviors, and are usually selfish and proud. This is a general statement however, as some 'Malice' durungees have very calm and wise dispostions. Most malice durungees have darker pigments on their fur due to the abnormally high level of poisons in their blood.
The whites of normal durungees' eyes are indeed white at birth, but over the course of 3 months it is dyed a deep black by poisons that naturally flow through their blood system. (Yes, you guessed it- durungees do bleed black.) Rarely durungees can be born without the black poisonous blood, so incidentaly their eye whites stay white even 3 months after their births. Common eye colors are gold, silver, and blue for durungees, and for Malice durungees red, orange, and deep violet are more common. Green eyes are incredibly rare, as is any shade of brown or black.
Gestation, Breeding: Normally, a female durungee is pregnant for 12 months. Once she gives birth her offspring remain with her until they are 3, at which time they can choose either to strike out on their own or to join their mother's pack. Durungees naturally travel in small packs of up to 7 individuals on their own, but often they join wolf packs( usually folowing their natural instincts to protect those weaker than them). Durungees may breed with wolves, but their offspring will be steril.
Diet: Durungees are omnivores, consuming everything from berries to leaves to flesh. They are very dependant on water and usually prefer to live close to bodies of water at all times, sometimes following streams for miles and miles and miles on end.

Breed #3: Marelup
Rating: 4 (slightly difficult)
Update: 1/11/08~ Marelups are now up for adoption!!!
General Information About MarelupsBreed: Marelup (mar* eh* loop*) pluralform~ marelups Marelups have been around as long as the first crocodiles have, and therefore have very few tracable ancestors.
Life span: Average life span for a male- 65 years; for a female- 50
Description: Fully grown males are an average of 11 feet from nose tip to tail tip, while females are about 9. They have pupils that take up their entire eye, usually brightly colored, and use them to better detect any kind of light in their dark eviroment, because they cannot see color. The long fins on their head are used as antennae to 'feel' what is in front of them. Using their paw fins, marelups can reach speeds ofup to 75 mph underwater.
Technical Terms: The scientific name for a marelup is
Profusum Capucaptis, meaning 'streamer head'.
Genetics: Marelups live in small pods, usually up to 8 members. They do have an alpha pair, and only they are allowed to mate. Marelups spend most of their time coordinating stratigies to bring down their large prey. They live in dark, deep waters so they can atack their prey stealthly from uderneath. They communicate with varying clicks, trills, and songs. They sound terrible when they're not in water, which doesn't happen often because they have no need to surface. However using their primitive lungs, marelups can surface and stay above water(no,not on land) for up to 5 hours before needing to re-submerge again. They make friends easily, but rarely stay in one place for more than a few years.
Marelups are gracefull creatures and have few natural predators. Thriving in salt and fresh water, they can be found in deep lakes and oceans, but never rivers or streams as they are far to shallow and lack prey. They are secretive creatures but quite loyal once you are in their good graces. They seem to be unaware of pain and will keep fighting until they cease to breath through their small gills.
Gestation, Breeding: Marelups give birth to several large, scaley eggs a few days after breeding. These eggs are monitored by both parents for 1-3 months before they hatch. Young marlups, called pups, are very vunerable and rely on their pod for protection. They will not venture out on their own until they are at least 20 years old. Marelups reach sexual maturity at age 16, but rarely find a mate until they are at least 25, and even then only the Alphas can breed. Marelips rarely continue to breed after they have breached age 40.
Marelups can only breed with others of their species.
Diet: Strictly carnivores and scavengers. Squid, crustateans, small whales, seals, sea lions, fish, sharks, rarely crocodiles, are their primary diet. Marelups have been reported to be cannibals during periods of starvaton.
Rules for Marelups:~ only ONE per person for each batch

Making your Own
- For now, marelups can only be created by me.
- Durungees may not be created by anyone but myself. You may breed two already adopted Durungees together.
-you may make family members for kishroos that you have adopted because you already have a basic area of how the family's markings are. And of course if you already have a wolf or cat mate for them you can make kits. ;]
- As for the kishroo 'mate' thing.........I really don't know. Of course feel free to ask other members who already have kishroos for matedom, but otherwise you NEED TO PM ME when you want to make your own kishroo so I know exactly how many are in circulation and so I can guide you with markings, habitats and such(if you'd like), because I really don't want I bright orange arctic kishroo living in a jungle if you get my drift.
**If you are a more responsible member and have already created the markings acuratly for the sub-species and give an explaination for their habitat, I will most likely give you permission if you PM me first. If not, then you may just have to get used to the idea of me helping you out, of just wait until I post more up for adoption.**
