Gin a silver Kumono ran through the Amazon as fast as he could, yet he was slowed down by a wound on his left rear leg. Gin stopped gritting his teeth in pain “No, can’t slow down must get back.” He muttered setting off again.


Esi saw the kumono run in pain. she was still young and didnt want to hurt any body. so she stayed her distance. she wanted to help, but what if it attacked she thought to herself. she started to follow the kumono slowly. she troted after him and was careful not to be too close. Riley--> i didnt say yes. you can post your bio, and then practise drawing the kumono, and you can draw only his/her head too.


Gin kept running, until he came to the river, he stopped at the bank and took a long needed drink, after he has satisfied his thirst he stepped back and sat down. “Just a short rest…” He said before his ears twitched with the sound of something behind him. Gin immedently leapt up and turned around taking the scents around him in “Another Kumono Kaida...Sapphire...Eligia?” He asked.


Esi walked out from behind a bush. " no" she said. she walked to the river bank that was away from the kumono. she started to to drink but kept watching the other kumono.


Gin watched the other kumono closely, before he fell down, “Agh...” he whined getting back up again looking at his leg “humans and there dogs, think they own everything.” He mumbled walking back to the bank.

Esi sighed. " i know what you mean. my pride was taken by humans. some when to labs and zoos, others were coats" she looked down at the wayer and sigghed again.



Gin looked over at Esi “Really…sorry to hear that” He said “I used to live in a zoo, before the elite rescued me.” Gin then leapt over to a rock in the middle of the river and sat down curling his tail around his body.

Esi was a young kumono and liked here things she never knew nad leaning new things. " really?" she said in aw. she ran into the wtaer and wlaked to the rock. " what was it like?" she asked. she was a curious one.

Gin looked down at the water “Horrible…” He said “We were kept in small dirty enclosures that didn’t resemble our natural home in any way, with humans around all the time, poking shouting blinding us with these bright flashes. The food was awful. At night the noises from outside the zoo stopped us from getting any sleep. Vets would often come and give us weird tasting tablets or injections.” Gin, looked up again and sighed “It’s a place no animal should be kept in.”
Esi felt bad for the kumono. " i'm sorry to hear that" she looked down the looked up smiling. " can you tell me about your adventure, and how the other kumonos saved you?" she asked.




Gin nodded “Sure.” He said “Well, it was the dead of night as normal all the kumono’s were up unable to sleep, we herd a sound from the main office like a cat had got in, it went quite for a bit after that so we settled back down for a rest. Yet a figure ran from the office over the fence off our enclosure to us in an instant although it was dark we could see it was a kumono, a red one with orange stripes she glanced at us all and told us to move to the gate and quick.” Gin paused for a moment to take a drink “So we all did when we got there a golden tiger striped kumono was clawing through the lock. It was amazing she could do it, the gate was unlocked but that set the alarm off, soon we were surrounded by guards. Three of the kumono’s that had broke in attacked the guards, three others showed us the way out.” Gin stood up looking around “The three that stayed never made it out…alive.”



Esi felt a kill go through her spine. " it must have been dangeruse for them " she said. she wanted to hear more. " and then what?" she asked. she left alittle embarest but she was curious.




“After that the elite were down to seven members, some were waiting outside. Now the guards had killed the others they and there dogs were chasing us we zoo kumono’s were still young and slow, so two members stayed behind to hold them off, in doing so they got torn apart, by the dogs, while we were running we could hear there cries. By now there were more zoo kumono’s then the elite, but that didn’t stop them.” Gin carried on lying down “The two kumono’s that had just been killed managed to take some of there dogs out, and we where getting closer to the game preserve were we would be safe, it was looking good. Until in front of us stood a group of there guard dogs, we all fought to get through them, we were surprised we did win, after that the fence to safety was in sight, we all leapt over and felt freedom at last.” Gin said with a sigh of relief.



" wow, that's some story" she saqid in aw. " did anything else happer?" she asked. she sat down in the water and listened. she really liked this story.


“Well, after that the group split we separated into different elite squads in order to help more kumono’s in need.” Gin said “I went with the three remaining ones who saved us, since then we have done some dangerous stuff, like what I was doing before I ran into you.”


Esi was smiling. " you must be full of adventures" she said with a giggle. " what happened to you before we met?" she asked.




Gin smiled and nodded “Oh I have plenty of adventure.” He said “Well just on the outside of the forest there’s a human camp, as the swift one in my elite group its my job to spy, I had to go right into the camp to find out what this years hunting plot is, so we can’t alert all kumono’s in the area, I got seen by one of there dogs. Luckily I was able to claw him off me and out run the mutt.” Gin said proudly. “Surprised they didn’t follow me.”



" wow, that must have been exiteing" she said. she got up and started to walk out of the water and onto a rock. " i wish my life was that fun" she mumble. " do you think, i can come along with you? since i dont have a family..." she said.



Gin stood up “Sure, anyone is welcome.” He said leaping onto the other side of the bank “Just as long as you can run, fight, hide, and are willing enough to help others.”


" ok" Esi said. she looked around. it was quiet... too quiet. she leaned closer to the other kumono. " i think we should run away from here... i think someone is watching us" she said. she jum,ped off the rock and started to swim to the edge of the river.



Gin nodded climbing up onto the other side of the river; he turned around and took in the scents in the air again “Hmph…” He turned around and began to run into the trees.


Esi turned around and followed Gin. " where are we going?" she asked him as she caught up to him. she had to run faster to keep up with him.


“Back to the elite camp, we should be safe there,” He said “By the way I’m Gin, Gin the swift silver.” Gin, slowed his pace down slightly so Esi could keep up with him.


" i'm Esi" she said. " Esi the... well i dont have a nickname" she said. she ran after Gin and soon she saw the camp.


Gin smiled “Nice to meet ya.” He said. As soon as they entered the camp a red kumono with orange stripes greeted them “Gin, you return.” She said “How long does a spy mission take you?” Gin laughed slightly “I ran into another kumono that’s why Kaida.” He said Kaida looked at him then Esi “Ah, I see.” She said.


Esi was emaress alittle. she desided to bow her head at the other kumono. " i herd about you," she began. " Gin told me how you saved him from the zoo." she smiled and loked at Gin then at Kaida.


Kaida smiled and nodded “Yep, it’s our job no big deal really.” She said “No need to bow your head though. I’m Kaida the red skill.”



" nice to meet you Kaida" Esi said as she lifted her head. she looked around the camp and other kumonos were looking at them. she looked back at Kaida and smiled a little.


Kaida smiled back and sat down. “So this is the elite kumono force, there’s not many of us at the moment but that’s all ganna change in time.” Gin said “The only names you really need to know is the four leaders, me, Kaida, Sapphire and Eligia.” Kaida nodded “You can get to know the others in time.”



Esi nodded at what Kaida had said. it was getting dark now, and hse was getting hungery. her stomach growled and she asked Gin in a whisper " can i have something to eat?"



Gin nodded “Yea, do ya want to go on a hunt or take something from the kill pile?” He asked standing up.


" i'll take something from the kill pile if that's ok" she said. she stood up and was ready to follow Gin.

Gin nodded again “Yep, that’s fine.” He said leading her into a large den “This is the leaders den also were we keep our food protected from any others who may want to steal it.” Gin said showing her to the kill pile “Take your pick,” He said picking a small rabbit up for himself.

Gin, went down into the bottom of his den where two other kumono’s were laid “Hey Sapphire, Eligia.” Gin said “Esi, these are the other two leaders. The golden one is Eligia, the cunning and the blue one is Sapphire the wise.” He lay down not far from them and began to eat his meal.


Esi walked up to them and bowed her head. she seat down the bird and said " nice to meat the leaders." she picked the bird up and walked to Gin. she lay down and started to eat the bird.


Eligia and Sapphire smiled “And you as well.” They said “Straight to it Gin, what did you find?” Eligia said as Kaida walked in “Well, it seems this time there after just kumono’s.” Gin began “Yet they seem to after one in particular, a very rare coloured one.”


Esi stoped eating and looked up. " what?!" she said. she got up and looked around. she started to go into panic mode. her tail then started to twitch and she looked at each leader nerviously.



“Come to think of it Esi you do look like the one they described” Gin said Sapphire stood up “Well, they wont get to her” She said before turning to face Esi “the elite will protect you, no matter what. If you choose to stay.”


" th-thank you" she said. Esi was a very unique kumono indeed. she was purpe with a blue stripe and lighter blue patch serounding it. her tail was also blue. " i would like to stay..." she said..


Sapphire nodded “Right, Gin you will make sure she is safe.” She said Gin nodded “Yes Sapphire.” Sapphire sat back down “Kaida you head to there camp, see when this hunt is.” Kaida nodded and ran out of the den. Gin looked at Esi “Don’t worry they won’t get anywhere near you.”


“ok" Esi said. she walked back to her bird and started to eat it again. she sighed and chewed slowly.


Gin stood up and took the bones of his meal outside to burry them. He then climbed onto the near by tree and sat down watching over everything. Not long later Kaida returned “Gin!” She yelled. Gin jumped out the tree “What?!” he asked “There starting the hunt at moon high tonight.” She said.



Esi was taking out the bones of the bird when she herd this. " is the camp close by?" she asked nerviously. she looked around an d saw that the others were looking at her.


“It’s fairly close yea.” Gin said “We should move out be safer.” Kaida nodded “I shall tell Sapphire and Eligia.” She said running into the den. Gin looked around at the others “Haven’t you all got jobs to do, get on!” He yelled.

The others mumbled and coughed as the walked into their dens. " i thhink it's a good idea to move on" she said nerviously.



Kaida and the other leaders came out there den “Right it’s almost moon high, let’s get going.” Eligia said the others nodded “Gin, you and Esi go ahead we got to round up the force.” Sapphire said “Okay, c’mon Esi.” Gin said as he began to run out of camp



Esi followed. " oh, wait!" she said. she walked back to the leaders and bowed her head. she then ran back to Gin and followed to him. " where do you plan to go?" she asked.


Gin looked back “If we can, get to the other end of the forest there is an underground stronghold we can seek shelter in.” He said picking up his pace. “But it’s quite far away.”



Esi noded. " if it's safe i guess it would be ok" she said. she was still running after him. the moon was starting to rise higher into the sky. she sighed and still started to run after Gin.

Gin looked back as the sound of barking arose “Great.” He growled stopping letting Esi catch up with him.



Esi herd the barks and started to run faster. " i think we should hrry up" she said. as she ran.



Gin nodded, "Yea." He said running again "Soon we should come to some cliffs, a short climb, but worth it dogs wont be able to make it over as fast as us."


Esi nodded" ok she said as she was breathing heavily. she ran as fast as she could and soon saw the cliff rise up infront of them..




Gin leapt up onto the cliff and began climbing he was used to this and quite quickly made it to the top he stopped and looked down to see where Esi was. The cliffs were high and he could see the dogs were not far behind them “C’mon Esi hurry!” He said looking at the dogs then her.




Esi was climbing with all her strengh. " i'm coming" she said. she turned her head and saw the dogs coming closer. she started to climb again but faster. she soon got to the top, and started to run again.


Gin watched the dogs as they struggled to get up “That’ll hold you for a while.” He said, before turning to run again. “There is a river up a head we can stop for a drink.” He said now panting heavily..



“ok" Esi said panting. she ran after Gin and followed him to the river.


Gin stopped as he came to the river he jumped straight in and took a long drink. Then he looked up and around “Right, shouldn’t be far now.” He said sitting down in the water. “But we got to pass a small tribe village, the humans there are mostly peaceful and don’t hunt kumono’s so we should be ok.”


Esi ran in the water nad took a long drink. she sat in the water and said " lets swim to the other side and run from there" she said. she got up and walked in deeper into the river.


Gin nodded “Okay.” He said going into the deepest part of the water, the sound of barking got louder “We got to hurry though, those dogs are persistent.”



" ok" she said as she swam faster. she was finaly touching the sand in the water. she ran to the other side of the river and startedto run again.


Gin got up on the land and began running again. They came to a clearing in the trees, Gin stopped as a group of canine figures approached them “Esi, there in front and behind.” Gin said growling at the shapes.



" quick... in the tree! dogs cant climb trees!" she said. she jumped up and started to climb the tree. she climbed all the way to the top and looked downat Ginj. " Hurry!" she said.


Gin growled at the dogs he backed toward the tree but didn’t climb it “We can’t stay in the tree all night the man will come with his gun.” Gin said “One of us must fight.” He flexed his paws in the ground and readied himself to fight. "You stay up there."


" GIn! they could kill you!" she said. she was about to jump down the tree when she saw more figures coming. she looked closer and saw that it was the other kumonos. " the leaders are here with more kumonos!" she said.


Esi couldnt watch anymore. she jumped down from the tree and landed with her claws out on the dog's face. she strated to bite the dog and it fell to the ground.

When the dog fell Gin was freed he stood up and grabbed another of the dogs by the throat but this time he tore it out straight away “Take that mutt.” He sneered looking around.


Esi was getting of the dog when another came and took her by the tail. her flicked her, but he flicked her at the tree. she grabed the branch and climbed up on it. she looked at her tail and saw that it started to bleed. the dog stood up and started barking up the tree. Esi looked down at the dog and hissed at him.



Gin turned around and jumped on the dogs back, digging his claws into him and tightly grasping around his neck. “Get away from her.” He growled tightening his grip. The dog yelped and tried to throw Gin, but he kept hold tightening his grip till the dog fell down he then suffocated the dog till he was dead. Gin let go and looked at the others around him, “Only 3 left.” He said watching his fellow leaders taking those dogs on.


Esi looked at Gin and smiled. her experetion changed quickly as she said " watch out! look behind you!" a dog jumped on Gin and started to attak him. Esi hissed and jumped on the dog. " get away from him! she shouted. she bug her claws in the dog and bite his neck.


Gin struggled away from the dog; he then growled and grabbed the dogs back holding him down “You’re going nowhere mutt.” He hissed putting all his weight on the dog.



Esi pulled the dog's ear and it yelped. she then jumped back in the tree. she looked at the dog and saw that it was dead. " i killed it..." she said. she smiled and looked at a dog that was hurting Sapphire. she jumped on the dog and pinned it.


Sapphire stood up and growled “Dog…” She wasted no time in tearing out its throat “Thanks, and nice work on the other dog.” She said Gin walked over to them both “Last dog Eligia and Kaida can handle I’m sure.” He said watching Kaida pin the dog, and Eligia biting down on his neck.


Esi smiled. " no problem " she said to Sapphire. she then stood up straight and smiled. she looked at the other two leaders kill the last dog. " i think we should go before the humans come" she said.


Gin nodded “Yea, humans aren’t this easy to kill.” He said the others nodded “Alright move out.” Eligia called to the other kumono’s “How far now Sapphire?” Gin asked as he started to run with the others “Not far Gin, I think.” Sapphire said.

Esi walked to the leaders. she then looked at her tail. it was leaving drops of blood on the ground. " maybe i should wash this bite, it'll leave a trail and they'll follow us" she said.


Kaida looked back and nodded. “Yea other wise they’ll find us easily.” She said “There is a small stream ahead you can do it there, and any wounds any of you received.” Gin and the others nodded.





Esi walked over to the stream and put her tail in the water. she waited and saw the blood leave her skin. she raised it up nand saw that it was clean. " all clear" she said. she walked over to the others and sat down.

Gin and the others did the same with there wounds. “Ok, now the stronghold is just through those trees.” Sapphire said. “Lets go the sooner we get there the better.” Kaida said as the group started to walk on.



Esi smiled. she whispered to Gin " when can i get my nick name" she asked with a giggle. she followed Gin and the other leaders.


Gin looked at Esi and shook his head giggling slightly “When we think of one.” He said “One that suits you just right.” Gin looked around thinking.


" oh, ok" she said with a giggle. she followed the others and smiled. she found a rag and Esi picked it up and pit it on her tai;. she tied it on her bite and ran after the others.


Gin smiled as they approached the stronghold “You have got to help us think Esi.” He said “What do you think you are?”


" well, i'm curious... and adventurious... does that help?" she asked.


Gin thought for a moment, "Well, we more go on what we are best at like me running thats why i am the silver swift." He said.


" oh, well i am a fast swimmer and climber" she said as she shrugged. " would that help?" she asked.


Gin looked forward he had a idea but he was unsure whether to say it or not. "Umm..let me think." He said as they came to what looked like a small den opening "We're here." Kaida said.




Esi looked At Kadia. " we are?" she asked. she saw the smal den. she didnt want to upset th leaders so she didnt say anything else untill they were all inside.


Once inside the den, it was a tunnel leading down to a large underground den “Yea that’s a way to hide the fact it’s here.” Gin said lying down head on paws.


“ok" Esi said. she followed Gin and lay down next to him.


Gin looked around “Yea the humans wont find us down here our scent is hidden and there’s no sign of life inside from the outside.” He said the other leaders came over to Gin “Finally here, how long do you think we will have to stay?” Eligia asked Gin looked up “I’m not sure, depends when the humans give up looking for Esi.”



Esi looked over at Kaida. " what if we have members distract the humans while I run away?" she asked. " i know it sounds stupid but it might just work" she added..



“Good idea, but then what if some humans chase you while the others are facing the kumono’s?” Kaida said “Then you send some after the run always.” Gin added. Kaida nodded “Good point, Gin.” Eligia looked around “I’m ganna send the scouts out now.” She said standing up.


Esi looked at each leader. " i'll come with you" she said as she followed Eligia. she walked out of the chamber and waited for her.



All four leaders walked out the den “Right, now we split in four groups, the normal ones.” Eligia said. The other three leaders were gathering there groups up “Ok Esi, which group you ganna go with?” Eligia asked.


" which groups are there again" she said. she looked at each group then back at Eligia.


“Well, my group we are going to cover the north side of the Amazon near the hunters camp.” She said “Kaida’s group, there covering the west, Sapphire’s group east and Gin’s group south.” Eligia looked around seeing all the kumono’s ready to move out.


" well, because the human camp is morth, i should stay as far away as posible. so, i'll go with Gin becuase his group is going south" she said. she walked over to Gin group and looked around.


Eligia nodded and padded over to her group “Right, back here at sunrise for a report.” She said before leading her group away. The other two groups moved out quickly behind them, Gin watched them go, and then he turned to his group “Same way as normal. Be alert and careful.” He called before setting off south “Keep at a steady pace not to slow, not to fast, we’re only scouting.”

Esi nodded. she looked at Gin and then at the moon. " ok, lets go" she said to Gin.



Gin yawned as they walked on “If we run into any humans, have you any idea on what to do Esi?” He asked out of curiosity.


Esi looked back at him. " distraction" she said.


Gin nodded and looked ahead listening to the sounds around him, before looking back at his group “Remember who is distraction and who is escape everyone.” He said looking forward again. He kept his head low as he was walking.

Esi nodded and walked behind Gin with the rest of the group behind her. " so where are we going?" she whispered to him.


“Down to the edge of the forest near the swamp lands on the outside of the Amazon.” Gin said shuddering slightly. “Nasty place.”

" ok" Esi said. she continued to follow him. she didnt say a word asfter that. all she did was continue to follow him.

Gin and the others walked on until they came to the entrance “Ok, now watch your step the mud can be deepish here.” He said “We got to get to the other side, need to check that camp out.” Gin quietly mumbled to himself while he began walking into the swamp.


Esi followed Gin into the swamp. " which camp?" she asked. she looked back and saw that someone was stuck. she walked back and freed her. she then walked back behind Gin.


“A human camp, they don’t know about you or any off us kumono’s I got to make sure it stays that way.” Gin said, before stopping “Wait, something’s behind us…” He said noticing shadows in the distance. “Pick up the pace.”


Esi looked back at the shadows. she noiced that everyone had passed her. she then looked farward and ran bnext to GIn. " i cant taell what it is" she told him.




Gin looked back again “Neither can I.” He said before beginning to walk faster with his group “It doesn’t feel right, something about them seems threatening”



Esi looked back again then squinted. she then ran back to gin. " i think it's wolf Rapotors!" she whispered to him.


“Raptors,” Gin said stopping and looking back “Inferno…” Gin growled lowly before breaking into a run “C’mon everyone now!!” He shouted “If it’s raptors we got two chooses, stand and fight or try and lose them.”


Esi nodded. " hurry, lets go!" she shouted. she started to run after Gin and looked back. she was sure she saw a claw. " hurry!" she shouted. she started to run faster.


Gin’s group all picked up there pace. Gin looked back “There’s quite a few of them.” He said seeing the shadows following them. “Once we get out the swamp under the moonlight we can see what they are.”

Esi nodded. she started to run faster and saw a shadow of something big fly over her. she looked at the sky and continued running. " they're goig to cut us off1" she whispered to Gin.


“Not if we go off track.” He said turning left “Off track now everyone…the mud might be deep but we have no choice.” Gin looked at the sides where the shadows were “Go to far this way raptors you’ll get caught.” He muttered.



Esi followed Gin to the left. " they fly dont they?" she asked. she looked up in the sky and saw nothing. she stoped running and loooked around. everything was still exept for the running kumonos. she then started to run again when she herd a sound.


“Raptors don’t fly but there friends the Devil wolves do.” Gin said looking up before falling down into the deep mud “Agh…” He struggled to get free hearing the same noises Esi was.


Esi helped him up. " what are devil wolwves i've never herd of them" she said. she gave him a puss to help him run.


Gin got up and began running again “Devil wolves, much larger and more powerful then normal wolves, there fangs and claws are sharper, they are nasty creatures.” He said looking up “And obviously they have wings.”


"oh" Esi said. she started to run again with mud flying everywhere. " hurry" she told the group. she then saw a shadow fly over the group. " they're here!" she shouted.



Gin growled looking up “C’mon move we need to get out of the swamp, we don’t stand a chance against them in here.” He shouted as he saw the exit back to normal forest


Esi quickly ran to the entrance. " hurry!" she told the group. a group member fell down in the mu and couldnt get up. Esi ran back and put her on her back. he was much bigger than her so only the top part of his body was on her back. she tragged him out of the mud. " run!" she told him. she got out of the mud nad ran after the group.



Gin looked back to see if the shadows were still behind them, “Raptors and Devil wolves what could be worse?!” He growled looking back ahead “There ganna cut us, we have only to fight.”


Esi caught up with Gin. " is there a way to sighnal the other groups?!" she asked. she stoped as she saw that the creatures surounded them. " it's the rarest kumono... Get her! that master wants her dead!" one shouted.


Gin nodded “Only one way it might not reach them but we gotta try, Osami Kunia go right to the top of the trees and call the leaders.” Gin said to two other members of the group, the two kumono’s did as they were told and soon a loud call was herd “That’s are only hope…” Gin said before turning to face his foes “Yea well your ganna have to go through me to get her!!”


" Gin!" Esi shouted as a wolf raptor jumped on him. " big mistake gray one!" it said to him. " get off him!" Esi shouted. she jumped on it's snout and started to bite it.


Gin stood up and growled he leapt up and grabbed the raptors throat “Your mistake!” He sneered biting down, Then a reply call was herd “The others are coming.”


Esi jumped off the raptor and jumped onto the tree. she climbed all the way to the top and told the others that Gin needed help to fight. they nodded and jumped down. she saw the others coming but they were far.





Gin kept tight hold on the raptor till it fell down then he tightened his grip and threw the raptor against a sharp spike on a near by tree, the raptor howled in pain “How’d ya like that raptor?!” Gin snickered looking around “There’s more then this in the raptor pack, were are they all?”


Esi looked down and saw Gin kill the raptor. " they're almost here!" she shouted down at him. she looked up and saw that they were a little closer to the begining of the swamp.


Gin nodded looking up and Esi, before he looked around at the fight “This is not even half, were is Inferno and his group?” He muttered “Esi any sign of other wolf raptors in the area?!” He shouted.


Esi nodded and looked around. " i'll look!" she shouted down. she gasped and then looked down. " there are 3 more groups of 5 coming to the swamp. and then to the left, Kaida's grounp is at the swamp running through the mud followed by the others!" she shouted.


Gin nodded “Rematch time.” He said jumping into the tree and sitting on one of the branches waiting for the other groups to come.

" Raptors. see them over there coming closer to use?" she whispered and pointed. " if they come in the middle, we trap them. i came uppw ith that idea and all i have to do is wait for them to be in the center and then give them a signal to atak" she said. she looked at Saffhire and Eligia. she stood up on the branch and waited.


“Raptors might have known it would be.” Kaida said “you got a great idea Esi.” She then looked around “Let’s do it, but were is Gin?”


Esi looked down. " he's waiting on the low branch down there for them so he could be the first to attak. then its Spphire, then Eligia then us" she said. she looked back at the runnig raptors. " they are so slow" she thought to herself.


Kaida nodded “Right, but couldn’t the raptors hurry up.” She growled looking below “All the raptors that were here earlier are dead.” She then looked back up.


Esi nodded. " yes they are all dead" she said. " Raptors are known by being slow" she added. she then noticed that the raptors were in the middle. " wait for it... wait for it... " she said. " now!" she signaled for Gins group to attak. the Sapphire's then Eligia's. " now" she told Kaida. she jumped down from the top of the tree and fell on a Raptor's head, bringing it down to the ground. she then left the rest to Kaida.

Gin jumped down straight down and attacked there leader a blaze red raptor, he landed on his back and buried his teeth in the raptors neck, Eligia Sapphire Kaida and there groups also went to attack. “Remember me Inferno?!” Gin growled as he tugged on Inferno’s neck. The raptor thrashed around to get Gin to realise him but he kept a tight hold.

Esi climbed back up the tree. she wanted to fight but she remembered that Gin told her to stay in the tree no matter what. so she stayed safe in the tree and watched the fight between the Raptors and the Kumonos.



Gin wasted no more time he quickly tore the raptors neck and leapt back into the tree “Revenge taken…your leader is dead raptors, why fight on?!” Gin yelled licking the blood from around his mouth watching the fight.


Esi saw Gin kill the leader and she jumped down. she landed an a raptor's head and made it hit a tree. it howled in pain then fell to the ground. the othe Raptors ran away and the kumonos were all alone again. " everyone ok?" Esi asked.


“Yea we’re all fine.” Sapphire said looking around; the kumono’s gathered together “Right, so Gin found the raptors.” Kaida said “Was anything else of importance found?” Eligia looked up “Only the humans, there still looking for Esi.” She said, Gin jumped down from his tree and joined the leaders “Humans…” He huffed.

" umm... the Raptor said something about wanting me dead" she told them. she sat down and yawned.


“Why would the raptors want you dead?” Gin asked the other three leader shook there heads “No idea…” Sapphire said “You ever done anything to them Esi?”

" no, i dont remember doing... oh no..." Esi said. she suddenlyremembered what she did. She shook her head and looked up again.


Gin looked at Esi, “You did do something to them…” He said “Must have been bad for, them to hold a grudge.” He sat down looking at the other leaders. “What did you do?” Sapphire asked.


" i-i...i killed the leader's only son..." she said. she looked down and frowned. " it was an accident and it wasnt my fault."


Sapphire looked up “The leaders only son?!” She said in amazement “Well that explains it.” Eligia said “Hopefully that was the last raptor pack.” The leaders nodded. “Don’t worry Esi, it’s in the past now.” Gin said.


“its wasnt my fault, i was running away from his so and i ran in the tall grass. but the grass was small compared to the wolf raptor. so hunters passed by, and shot him to death..." Esi said as she looked down.


Gin looked at her “It’s ok, something like that you couldn’t help.” He said softly “The raptors are gone, nothing to worry about.” Kaida nodded “Just the humans.” She said.


" Ok " Esi said. "lets go before humans-" " Help!" someone shouted. " Help..." the voice said in a whisper. suddenly, the creature that said help grabed Esi from behind and fell to the ground. " Abeni?!" Esi said as she ran to her friends side to help her. Abeni was badly cut and lost alot of blood. " Humans..." Abeni said. she then fell unconscious. Esi picked her up gently and put her on her back.


Gin looked at the wounded female “Quick get her back!” He said leading the kumono group back to the stronghold, “Take her inside Kaida knows a bit about medicine she’ll help her.” He looked back as the pack ran after him.


Esi nodded. she stoped running and carefuly gave Abeni to Kaida. she then waited for kaida to start running so she could follow her incase that she was tired of caring Abeni.



Kaida took Abeni and began running again “So is she a friend?” Kaida asked looking at Esi then ahead.


“yes, she was the only one that wasnt captured in my prade. but then we got separated because of hunters" she replyed. " i think we should run now..." Esi said. she walked behind Kaida and started to run when she did.


(I think actually i'm ganna change Kaida to a male.) Kaida nodded and ran faster he soon caught up with the other three leaders at the front, “Not far now, hang on Kaida.” Eligia said Kaida nodded keeping fast pace.


(ok) Esi ran faster and caught up with the leaders. she ran next to Gin and smiled. soon the got to the cave and Esi walked up to Kaida and asked him " is she ok?"

Kaida nodded “Yea she’ll be fine after some rest and a bit of medicine down her.” He said setting some herbal plants down beside Abeni. Kaida then turned around and walked over to the leaders who were laid not far from Abeni.


Esi followed Kaida and lay down next to the leaders. " so, what's the plan for tomorrow?" she asked.


Gin looked at Esi “Well we got to lay low till hunting season is over in a few days, but we need to keep scouting the area around the stronghold.” He said “So mostly hunting scouting and anything else that needs to be done.” The other leaders nodded in agreement “But Gin something always happens that changes the day, you know that.” Sapphire said.


Esi looked at each leader. " well... i'm going to bed, it's been a long day and i'm tired." Esi got up to go to bed but then looked back at the leaders. " where do we sleep exaticly?" she asked..


Gin laughed slightly and stood up “C’mon I’ll show you.” He said taking her into another chamber of the den “See each hole…well just curl up in one of them if ya like other wise it’s were ever you like seeing as this isn’t our home.” He said.

Esi smiled. " ok... but there are only 4 holes. one for each leader" She said. " unless one of the leaders share."



Gin looked at her then pointed to the closest hole “Well, you can have mine.” He said “I don’t mind.” Then Sapphire Eligia and Kaida crawled in “Night Gin Esi.” They said climbing into there dens.


Esi shrugged. " are you sure?" she asked. she looked at the hole then crawled in. she curled up and lay her head on her paws. " goodnight everyone" she said. she closed her eyes and fell asleep.


Gin yawned and climbed into Kaida’s den “I’m staying with you tonight.” He whispered lying down at the other side of the den. Kaida was already asleep and he didn’t notice Gin. “Night all.” Gin said before lying his head down and closing his eyes.


Esi fell asleep that night and hade a horable dream. she woke up slowly because she herd singing. she opened her eyes and saw her dead boyfriend. she screamed as she saw him. he had the broken spear head the humans left behid on the ground, in his side that she planted in self defence. she screamed as she saw his face. Exept it wasnt a dream.


The leaders woke up when Esi screamed “Wha...what?!” Kaida said crawling out his den the other leaders did the same “Esi…” Sapphire said, they all looked at her with confused looks on there faces.

Esi was sitting in the corner of the den and was looking at where Kobe, her dead boyfriend was. she was breathing heavly. she then looked at the leaders then back at the corner, and Kobe was gone.


Gin crept into the den, “Esi…are you ok?” He asked, walking over to her his ears flat against his head and tail low.

Esi looked at Gin and said " its-its... Kobe...i saw him. he's my dead boyfriend. i-i saw him. he had the spear in his side and his face was so pail and it looked like he was a ghoast. i know you're going to say it was a dream, but it's not ok!. i remember i woke up because i herd singing and i thought it was you. and when i opened my eyes... he was the, looking right at me... singing..." she said in a panicking voice.



Gin sat down looking at Esi for a moment, he then looked at the other leaders “Esi what else could it have been but a dream?” He said softly looking back at her.

" it wasnt a dream!" Esi snapped. " i saw him! i really did!" she looked down and then said " i.. kileed him before i met you, about 3 days. i've always been nervous about it but i was too worried about the humans that i forgot about it. then when you said that there was no roblem with the humans for now.. that when..." she stoped talking and looked up.

Gin looked down, then back up “Well, I guess these things can happen…” He said standing up and walking over to Esi. ”I’m sorry, for that.” Then he sat down. “You killed him…?” Kaida said confused looking at Eligia then Esi again.

Esi looked at Kaida. " it was self deffence... and before he died.. he said i would never get over him... and now his father is looking for me.. and... the leader of the raptors is Jetani, Kobe's Father!" Esi looked at the elders.


Gin looked at the others “Whoa…that’s pretty bad.” He said. The other leaders nodded “So is Jetani still out there?” Eligia asked “Or was he one of the ones we were fighting earlier.”

" no, Kobe and Jetani are kumonos..." Esi said. she walked out of the hole shacking in fear. she walked over to some water and took a long, needed drink. "

“So we have more to worry about now.” Sapphire said to the others. “Well we must rest, we will talk more about this in the morning.” The three leaders went back into there dens, Gin walked outside after Esi..

Esi was still drinking when Gin walked out of the den. " i cant sleep alone in that den" Esi said with her head down. she looked up and walked back in the underground den. she sat down infront of all the dens. she looked at each sleeping leader, then back at Gin.


Gin looked down, “Well, I could stay in there with you. If you wanted.” He said sitting down curling his tail around his paws, looking back up.


" umm... ok" Esi said. she walked in the den and laydown next to the wall. " night..." she said. she closered her eyes and she herd her own heart beat.





Gin walked into the den and curled up against the other wall, he yawned and closed his eyes. “Night Esi.”

Esi opened her eye slowly and saw Kobe siting infront of her and he was looking right at her. " Kobe!, stop it! you're dead!" Esi yelled at him. she moved forward to touch him and he felt real but cold. she moved back in terrior, and Kobe turned his eyes to Gin then back to her. Kobe smiled. Esi looked at Gin, and then back at Kobe, but he was gone.


Gin slowly opened one eye “Esi…” He said raising his head and opening the other. “…Did you see him again?” He added looking around.


Esi nodded. she was cold as a chill ran down her spin. she then herd a whisper in her ear saying" i told you you would never get over me.." but in Kobe's voice. Esi was breathing heavly.


Gin sat up and moved a little closer to Esi “It’s ok...he is just a memory haunting you.” He said “After a while when he is forgotten I’m sure this ‘ghost’ will go.”


Kobe then said " dont be so sure about that..." Esi had another chill run through her spine. she then ran closer to gin and snuggled closer to him.



Gin growled at the voice of Kobe. “Why don’t you just leave her in peace?!” He looked around the den, then down at Esi “What will you gain from disturbing her?”



" it's what she gets!" Kobe said in a very loud voice. Esi shrunk down in fear.



“So she had you killed, it was an accident, not her fault!” He growled loudly back at Kobe.


Esi looked at Gin. she then stood up at looked right at Kobe. " stop it! you dont haunt people you love!" she snapped at him. Kobe got in her face and snapped back " you dont murder people ou love!" Esi gared at him. " if you dint hurt Abeni infront of me, you would be alive. i saw you from that cliff! i saw you Throw her to the ground and step over her! you riped my den apart to get in! what was i suppost to do! you put your paw over my mouth and forsted me to kiss you! you then yelled at me for holding back! i pushed you away then grabed the spear! it's not my fault you ran into it! all this happened because you couldnt get over the fact i liked someone else!" Kobe glared at her angerly. " none of that would of happened if you didnt trail me along!"


Gin growled and stepped in-between both “Stop now!!” He snarled “Things happen accidents happen. You got to learn to deal with them, Kobe your ganna get no were haunting Esi.” He added a little calmer.


Kobe snaled at him. " get away from us!" he yelled. he slapped Gin and made him fall to the ground. " kobe!" Esi snarled at him. " i'll be back...just you wait... you'll see!" Kobe said as he disapeared. Esi looked at Gin and walked to his side. " are you ok?" she asked him.


Gin stood up and nodded “Yea, I’m fine.” He said sitting down, against the wall “He is one persistent guy alright.”


Esi sighed in releif. ' why didnt the other leaders come in... we made a whole bunch of noise' she said to herself. " you've seen nothing yet..." Esi said as she helped Gin get up.

Gin nodded looking around. “Well, we will beat him; a ghost can’t be that strong.” He said lying back down wrapping his tail around his body.


" i just dont understand one thing, why didnt the leaders come in.. i mean i was practicly yelling at Kobe. didnt i make alot of noice?" Esi asked. she sat down next to Gin and wraped her tail around her front paws.


Gin looked across at the other dens “I don’t know, I would have thought they would have herd and come in.” He said looking back around at Esi. “In the morning I’ll ask if they herd anything.”


Esi shrgged. " ok" she said. she lay down and curled up. she lay her head on her paws. she sighed and started to close her eyes.



Gin looked around before resting his head on his paws and closing his eyes and slowly he fell asleep.


That night Esi slept like a baby. when she woke up , she found Gin gone. she stretched and walked to the main chamber where she saw all the leaders sitting down and having breakfast.


Gin was happily gnawing on a small bird when Esi came in “Morning Esi.” He said with a mouth full. The other three leaders looked around “Heya, sleep well?” Kaida asked


Esi sighed and sat down. " well, after the fight a slept well. i didnt even hear Gin get up" Esi said. she walked over to a bird and started to eat it.


Sapphire stopped eating and looked up, “The fight…?” She said with a curious look on her face. Gin looked around at Esi “They say no sound came from the den all night.”

Esi lifted her head. " Really?, but we were yelling..." Esi said. she lowered her head and started to eat the bird again.


The three leaders looked at each other, then at Gin and Esi “Nope, nothing. Who or what were you yelling at any way?” Eligia asked.


Esi sighed. " remember i woke up scraming because of Kobe... well... he came back and i started to fight with him. well, argue with him..." Esi said. she took a bite of her bird and watched the leaders as she chewed.


We didn’t hear him…how odd.” Kaida said finishing off his meal. “Yea very strange we aren’t light sleepers.” Eligia added.



" huh... weird..." Esi said. "but why didnt you hear it... Gin and I did..."


“Maybe…Kobe only wanted you and Gin to hear.” Kaida said “Sounds odd, but I have herd of ghosts doing that.” Sapphire and Eligia nodded. “Yea, what else could it have been?” They said.


Esi shrugged. " maybe" she said. she finaly finished her bird and licked her lips. she go up and walked outside for a drink. she took a long refreshing drink then walked back in. " so what do we do know?" she asked as she sat down.


Kaida stood up “Well so far normal day, so we’ll do our jobs and you…well whatever you like.” He said “Right Gin, your normal duty, Scout the human camp. Eligia hunting, Sapphire training and I shall be guarding.” The leaders nodded and stood up ready to go on the duties.


Esi walked after Kaida. " well... can i guard with you?" she asked. she didnt want to do anything else because well.... she had nothing to do.



Kaida nodded “Sure, if ya want to.” He said walking outside behind the other leaders. Gin shook himself off and darted of into the trees “Be back in a bit.” He called; Sapphire took a small group of young kumono’s and began training them on how to fight. Eligia took a hunting pack out to look for food. “Right so what will go wrong today.” Kaida asked jumping into the tallest tree around them.


"well... i think i should train you know.. incase of an attak" Esi said. " i'll came back later" Esi said. she troted off to Sapphire and the group.


Kaida nodded watching Esi go. “Right, young ones start practising” Sapphire said as Esi walked over “Esi, what’s up?” She said watching the younger kumono’s.



Esi walked over to Sapphire and said " well, i thought that it would be better if i trained incase of an invation of something." she sat down and smiled alittle.


Sapphire looked around at Esi and nodded “Good idea.” She said “Well, show me what you know.” She turned around to face Esi.


" ok, what do i do... shouldnt i show you me agility first?" Esi asked. she stood up and was ready to do anything the leader told her to do.

Esi nodded. " ok." she followed Sapphire to the trees and sat down for further explanation.


Sapphire turned back around “We will work on Balance first.” She said “Balance is easy really kits know what it is and how to do it. Tell me how good your balance is?” She asked jumping onto a log hanging between two cliffs like a bridge.


Esi nodded. " ok" she said. she jumped on the log and walked on in closer to the leader.
