Agree, and disagree:

Agree:
I think it's a good idea, and will stop many members from posting (Or worrying) about what section to put it in. (Unless they post it in say music section) But I think to also help it, make it a 'musical' section added to it, so that there is no confusing on where to post musicals.

Disagree:
Members should know where to post it, it is straight forward, if it is animated (Like WALL-E or somthing like that) It belongs in Animation/Cartoons, and somthing like HP belongs in the films/series. I feel it is straight forward.

Well actually no. it would be rather confusing and more jam packed and even harder for the mods to moderate with the amount of topics that contributes in both sections. if its in the wrong section just tell a mod to move it. Just making one would make it even harder for the members as they'll be too many topics at once and will look in a mess with the number of pages that may pile up due to this

Well basically people should wake up and be aware in where their posting and if theve posted in the wrong topic simply just either tell them in the topic or the mods. Unless the person purposley post topics in the wrong section to annoy people. That can happen..

I would prefer to keep them separate.
Why? Well, because this is the forums for animated films. It seems logical to separate animation from live action.
And if there are films that are both (ex : Enchanted), which is pretty rare, they are almost always considered as animated films.
Animation is not the same thing as special effects though : Harry potter, the Scooby doo or Garfield live films, etc... should go into the live action board.
