question my friends and i are on a dib rule thingy, its basically for dating and crushes. if you like a guy/girl you say 'i got dibs on him/her.' its all confussing...so i was wondering if you do something like that!

Technecally, I don't think you should dib a human being. It only cause trouble if your friend or friends like this person as well. But Yes, I am confused as well why someone would call dibs on a person. Like they say,

"All is Fair of Love and War".

I wonder if this helped. :?

I don't do that, but i already new what it was. when you say that you've got dibs, it basically means that you are more likely than the other person challenging you, to snag the guy/girl you like. Maybe it's cuase you guys are still young[er] than the h.s. age.

I think it's stupid to have 'dibs' on someone. Like, if they like you, they do, if they don't, they don't. Most of the time this happens when someone doesn't even know the person they're 'dibsing'.

All in all, I think if you really know and like the person, it is fair to have 'dibs'...

But otherwise I couldn't think less of it.
