Remember in the first movie of Balto, Steele said, "Balto, translate this for me... AOOOOUUUUUUUUU!" Well, since Balto is part wolf, he knows their language. (I think)

In the scene where the wolves on the hill howl to him, what do you guys think that they are saying? Just reply what you think what they were telling him, I would like to know! :)

I made this topic, so don't go saying I copied off from someone! I am sorry if I did.

They were probably asking him to join their pack.

Perhaps they knew him from a pup? Maybe Aniu was their leader? :D (In other words, they could have been asking them to come back to their pack?)

Remeber. All dogs are related to the wolf. Dogs don't speak sentences, they use body language and braking sounds to talk. All dogs can understand eachother.

If memory serves, Steele actually said "Hey Balto... I've got a message for your mother." Then howled.

Dogs can understand each other's body language. There is no difference in wolves as well - since they are both in the canine family.

Basically, he can 'translate', but not in the way you are speaking of, I guess.
