Okay, So i think there's already a topic about genders but dont you hate it when someone mistakes you for a boy when your really a girl or vise-versa? Maybe just a little icon under your avatar or ontop off it. Like this: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbvi ... _signs.jpg Sure some people dont like showing their gender but there should be in your user control pannel a tick box if you want to show it or not.So people could know so if they type when they talk to you and say she when your a HE. You dont create spam and start telling them and going of topic. ------- Locked topics should be deleted , I mean the board is full of spam and usless topics so locking all of them just creates lots of clutter on the fourms so Steet or the modorators could delete them istead of keeping a topic that you cant comment on anymore. It would be more cleanner.

i think both ideas are excellent. the ? and ? definatly would be useful to me as well as others. sometimes, people mistake meh for a boy and a few others get mistaken for thier opposites quite often as well. as for thedelteling locked topics there are several currently on the rant board that just makes it look SO messy. just think about how that appears to visitors.

I agree on the gender symbols, it would solve people getting mixed up all the time and I don't think it'd be too hard for Steet to set up.
Hmm...we used to have "forum cleaners", I wonder what ever happened to that 0.o I do agree it looks messy though, locked topics of no use should really be deleted after a week or so maybe.

Dustpaw wrote: Yeah, I agree with both things you said. But what if people don't want to reveal that they are a male or a female? Just asking. But it's still good. It'll be pretty creative. ^^ thats the point, i'd be an option just like on the main site. most people will reply what they are when you don't know and put he/she anyways when directing a comment at them

I'll add something like this, but I will have to copy the option you filled from the site to the forums, and make it work with the ones from the forums. (so that you will only have one place to add it and it will be added for both the site and forums)

No, we can't specify we only want to remove locked topics.

Oh right... See i'm not that much of a 'Prune' user, so I just assumed that was the solution.

Gender signs. I've seen them before, they help. Handy.
And wouldn't it be easier to just lock a topic and then delete it perhaps a day later if it's useless? :/
