I have an idea.
Considering that I'm the only one able to program on the site, I prefer to focus on this.
The problem is that it doesn't leave me time for working on getting a good webranking for the site. It especially hurts Lion King Source, which still has a bad webranking even after three years, because I never got the time to actually work on this.

I know this is normally the webmaster job, but I also know some of you like to help the site. This would be a great help.

Webranking consists in getting other sites to link to yours. This is most of the time a link exchange. The work would consists in searching on the web for potential sites who would accept a link to BS or LKS, and then contacting them (sending a mail / contact page) Then wait for an answer. It doesn't seem much, but it's very long to do and organize.

I had created a topic where visitors could help getting the site better ranked by registering it into directories. I'm not sure many of you actually did it, and I think the problem is that I didn't designate people to do it.

So here is my question : does some of you would be interested in being a "site webranker"? This would be a special rank, just like the fan editors, but you won't access moderator sections. In order to manage this, I think I will create a specific section on the forums that only webrankers would be allowed to see.

Hello Steet, I just want to say, I would be delighted and proud to become a Webranker, I feel I will be able to it, and hopfully do a good job of it, if I became a webranker, I would mostly aim for TLK source, (As that is probably least popular, but for a bigger film.) So yeah, I would offer to do the job And if you want, I wouldn't mind becoming the Group leader, if you need one...

I would love to help out, LKS. It really needs it.

Heres a suggestion, you could also make the webrankers 'Link' Moderators, like, Artcles, Fan fixs Exc, they can fill out a form and send it off to the Moderators, (Too add there site on the links page), and the Webrankers are the ones that check it and exept/decline it onto the site...

Anyway, I will prepare what is needed to organize this.

Well, since being a Webranker may mean posting links to the other site (Owned by the webmaster of the site you posted Balto, or TLK Source on), so how about they also become Link Moderators who also deal with users posting links onto the site....

Anyway, just to ask, how many Webrankser do you need/want?

I am talking about external links, not internal. And you don't exactly post links to other sites, but ask them to add one on theirs.
Maybe they could moderate the "links" section on the forums though, because they contain potential sites which could link to BS or TLK.
I'll see. I don't really want to make them true moderators, that's all.

And how many I want, well I would be tempted to say "as many as possible", but it could become hard to organize. It will depend on how many are interested.

It can be a good formation if you own a site and want to improve its webranking too...I can give a few advice.

Well, I woiuld recomend 4 or 5 Webrankers, just a suggestion.

Also, what could help, where I live, I own a big bilboard in the town centre (For advertisments), I rent it out at the moment, but, I wouldn't mind say putting a little add on the side about Balto and TLK source.

I could help out. I have plenty of spare time and often surf about other TLK or Balto related sites.

Ahem, let me clear this up for you.
I have loads of spare time but not spare time I wish to spend having to clear up the mess of people arguing like 5 year olds about things which don't matter. ;]
