i read it i dont remember her dying she just disregarded him as her son after her secound litter and he wasn't half wolf since his sire was full bred wolf who mated with his half bred mother he was like 75-80% wolf. I don't mean to sound mean but did u read the book or see the movie because diseny altered parts, took a few parts out and focused more on his boy then White Fang skipping out on the young pups childhood and making us miss out on why he did certain things

Why have you dubbed it the secong Balto story?...

I suggest reading the book instead of watching the movie first. Read the book White Fang (and its brother book Call of The Wild) years back and greaty enjoyed it, only about half a year ago did I see the movie adaption. Although this topic is books so I won't put my thoughts on the movie, I strongly suggest reading this book as Jack London did not write many books (by a writers standards) and White Fang is a brilliant story, although I am aware that nearly everyone on this board has read White Fang as it's a well known classic.

I am completely enthralled by Jack London's "White Fang". I think I've read it fifty-six times (and counting).

It's a great story; one I'd reccommend to every book-enthusiast out there.
