well this question is for Firestorm, how do you keep the rhythm while playing the drums? especially since if you have a big one?

Good question, the anwser to this might be a long one, but who the hell really cares, right? lol
Basically speaking from my experiences to anwser your timekeeping question reguarding large drumkits and the like, what it all basically boils down to is knowing your setup inside out, having decent technique, knowing how to phrase your base rhythms and know when to stage your fills, basically being a good timekeeper is where the money is mate, a few good drummers that demonstrate this are:
Neil Peart (Rush) Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, OSI, Transatlantic) Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson) Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall)
Hope this helps! thanks!
