A lot of us use the "Text Highlight" tool in our profiles and gallery presentations. I don't know if there's a trick to this or what, but there's no option for "No Highlight." this makes the MANY highlights a sore to the eye, and you have to change them to match the color of font you're using.

Again, just a mere suggestion. I've been mulling over this for some time now. Have an opinion? Post it.

Mmm, not sure to understand. Do you mean the colored "backgrounds" on words that some people use, in the text editors on the site?
I think they are annoying, and I should even remove that option.
Although, the text editor generates HTML, so it could be a little complex to make an option to remove them once the code has been generated.
If that's what you meant...

Yes, those. I use them every so often, to highlight areas that are important. However, once "highlighted," you can't remove it (so if you change the text color, you have to change the background color, as well).

Either way, it can be a "pain" (if you will), since you can't remove it. Even if this option is removed (the background text color), I don't mind.

Well you can always go into the HTML tab and make changes directly into the HTML, but of course it needs a little experience with HTML...
You can also use the "HTML cleanup", but it will remove all styles and images.
I may add the option to switch to another text editor though (probably FCKeditor), for fanfic issues mostly but it could be used anywhere.
