Many people arugue on weather not balto should be continued in movies. such as balto 4. my idea is that perhaps if someone anyone started of small say wrote a book and got it published. that would be step one. after that you advertise to all balto fans on the internet by adds, popups, anything you can think of. If All succeeds and you make good profit you can then begin selling in major bookstores and eventually people other that just balto fans will read the book and possibly if you make enough money universal will more than likely notice and probably try to make a movie out of it due to it's success as a book. no doubt i guarantee all goes well you will have a balto 4. all you need is to put forth the effort into writing a book.

Perhaps have several votes on what people would be interested in seeing in a balto 4. People this would be a difficult process but with hard work it could happen it just depends on how much you'd want a balto 4. i guarantee if you get money involved(as in profit), universal studios would jump at the chance to make a balto 4. they just need the guarantee that it will sell and make money. Any questions?

It sounds like an idea. I've actually been told by a few people that I should try publishing the Toby series, but since the plot is intertwined with other writers' work it could be complicated.

This is a good idea. However, I'm not the best writer you could ever meet. I just come up with good ideas. I already have good ideas. Also, ideas for a sequal after a Balto 4 if it were to come true...

well, remeber that universal said that they weren't going to make another balto movie (as of now) becuase WoC didn't sell enough copies. and baltosource did something kinds like this already (aka, the petition) and what i stated above was te reply.

Right but the petition was just trying to convince universal to to do something that had no guaranteed money involved. this plan included the profit of money and no buisness in this world could pass up the opportunity to make money. that's why i'm saying you make something that people buy and makes money then universal will become interested and want to attempt to get money as well if they are Reashured they WILL get it. that's why i'm saying if a book sells good people want to make a movie out of it. Why do you think they made all the harry potter movies? Cause they sold good and made money...

You can't just write a book about Balto and sell it. You need to pay to get the rights, and even if I don't know the exact amount Universal would be asking for, it would be hundred or thousands of dollars. That's why it's not that easy.

Right and again I Came prepared for that too. You see what I was planning on doing was writing a completely different storyline to Balto Thus you don't need the Rights from universal because it's your own idea, NOT universal's. Now if you were copying the storyline from any of the balto's (1,2,or 3) that universal had come up with then yes you would need rights. You follow me so far?

what i'm talking about doing in a nutshell is basically 1. Get ideas from various balto fans 2. Put ideas together come up with plot 3. Find Someone qualified to write such a story(hard part)4. Sell copies online to balto fans first then advertise 5. Sell in stores see how good it sells 6. If sells well we could easily convince universal to make another movie.

Unless you make a story with original characters, but then it has nothing to do with Balto and less people will be interested.

Probably not in an immediate future, but it could happen anytime. There are a lot of films that got sequels many years later.

Such as Bambi, Lion King, and Fox and the Hound. they were all made MANY years beofre the 2nd of each was created.
