You're talking about using recombinant DNA to fuse animal genetics? I'm afraid it doesn't work that way, so just don't believe everything you hear when your primary source is an anime show. XP Your body would reject the new genes and start to attack it, ultimately leading to a catastrophic cellular breakdown. Even if a protein were discovered or made that would familiarize the genetics of one animal to another, it would take more than just a few genes to make even the slightest difference. In the essence, you wouldn't sprout wings or a tail instantaneously -- such changes would require years or even decades if not millennia to evolve (if you believe in that kind of thing).
