Self-explanatory. Which is your favourite standard Labrador colour? (Not including mismarks, like brindle, black/chocolate and tan, mosiac, "silver" etc.)

For me, it's black and chocolate. I just find that black Labs tend to be much leaner-looking than most yellows (though that's a crap argument, I've seen my fair share of fat black Labs, LOL!). And they're shiny. ^^ My own Lab, who is black, almost looks blue when in bright sunlight, because her coat's so shiny.
Plus chocolate is just an awesome colour for any breed.

Your thoughts?

I prefer the yellow Labs. ^^ I love that coat color.

i LOVE chocolate labs, then second black labs, then lastly yellow labs. brown just reminds me of a rich chocolatey candy bar! and with your black lab's fur turning blue in the sun, by solid black shepherd caesar's fur does that too!

oh wow, goldens have long-coats, that one way to tell 'em apart . i agree that the yellow ones just aren't as different as the other colors. the shade of yellow they come in i dislike most would have too be that creamy color.

I favor the cream-colored ones. :] I'm bore into lighter colors than dark colors. And I like the cream most on Golden retrievers. ^^

well now, we are quite contrary of each other now aren't we not to offend you by that post or anything, i still LOVE all dogs, no matter thier coat color, i just stated my preference.

I love Golden Retrievers but I don't like yellow on a labrador.
I voted black but it's a tough choice between black and chocolate.

I think the black ones look very smart with a red collar. :]

i love them all but if i had to choose it'd be chocolate because i don't see very many chocolate labs and they're so cute i want to eat them up!!LOL

Honestly, it's a tie between Black and Yellow Labs. I own a Black Lab but I also adore the Yellow Lab color. Some Yellow Labs have a very light color to where it looks like they have a white coat! I'd LOVE to own one of those!

My mother's friend has a light-yellow coated Lab that looks like a white coated Lab (there's no such thing). The Lab is Male and his name is Nick. He is in training to help the blind. His owner says that people stop by asking "Where did you find a White Lab?"

Yellow labs. My aunt has two and they look cool.
