A sort of 'trailer' I made this week for a novel series titled: "Urban Legends" which I plan to write this Fall:

Urban legends is the title of a new novel series set to be written and published some time this Fall.
The story shows the lives of various animal characters living in major cities worldwid and feature chapters from the character's points of view as well as show casing various attractions found in the cities that they live in.
In the series the characters have various backgrounds. Listed below are the main characters in the first issue Urban legends: "Los Angeles" :
Owen- 3 year old male Ocelot, escaped from the L.A. zoo in 2003 and has a ajusted to life in the Metropolitan city. He mostly stays in the Hollywood hills area but does travel to other areas in the city. Like most cats Owne is independant, alert, intellegent and even tempered.
Jimmy- 2 year old male coyote, moved into the city as a 12 week pold pup with his pack. Now living mostly on his own he spends most of his time in the Westwood area of Los Angeles. Though being around humans has made him some what skittish if givne a handful beef jerky or a rawhide bone he can be rather friendly and oftne enjoys the company of other dogs and cats.
Sakura-2 year old female Rough coated collie/coyote mix also called a Coydog.(Father was a coyote, mother was a collie). She 's one of Jimmy's best friends. Intellgent, kind hearted and an overall good friend Sakura helps out Jimmy and Owen when she can. Born & raised in LA, she lives with owners and mother in Beverly hills. One of her favorite things is walking down Rodeo drive or Robertson and look through the shop windows.
Mack- 6 month old male crow who got caught in a fishing line at 2 months old. The line eventually cut into his skin, he now has a small scar that goes across his chest. Though Mack does live with a flock of wild crows he is oftn cared for by Irene Davis, a bird trainer/handler who has worked iwht various studios.Mack mostly flies around the LAX. Having spent half his life with a human he often walks up ones feeding pigeons looking for a handout. Overall he's gentle, bright and quickwitted.
Florida-1 year old Harrier/German shepherd mix, growing up in Inglewood she knows the streets like the back of her hand...er...paw. Not only does she have streetsmarts but booksmarts as well, there are times when she does venture out of the Inglewood area, oftne going to see her friend,Woody.
Woody- 4 year old Great Pyrenees, Woody's owner works at Manny's grill a small yet popular resterant known mostly for specializing in ribs, fried chicken and other dishes from the south located in the Larchmont village area. An old school show dog, Woody mostly meets and greets customers. Like most large dogs he's generally laid back and enjoys listening to B.B. King & Jazz records.
Fletcher-3 year old racing greyhound, Fletcher is one of several greyhounds that races at differnet tracks across the country. During the off season he resides in Orange county and often makes apperances at Petco adoptions. Like most greyhounds Fletcher is energetic, playful and mild tempered.
Adrina-2 year old Turkish angora cat, orignally from italy, Adrina has a few stories to tell about her life in Rome. An ex-street cat, Adrina is used to being on her own but enjoys the company of friends and other cats in the Pasedena and Glendale areas. She does have a bit of a spark in her attitude and isn't afraid to express how she feels on certain days. She does like Owen but prefers to keep her feelings about him hidden. Like most cats she's lively, quick on her feet and affectionate.
