Different color for Fan News Editors

Well, since I've heard that Fan News Editors aren't mods, I have a little suggestion.

In the Shout Box the color is green for non - shout box mods. The Fan News Editors have that green color. I was thinking that we should have a different color for the Fan News Editors. (Example: blue)

Yup, I agree. People think I'm a mod, and I'm not. Just simply an editor. Blue might work.

Hmm, good idea actually.

It's confusing for members who have a problem and ask a news editor only to be told they can't do anything, they need a mod and isn't really fair on the news editors either.

hmm that does sound cool. since they aren't technically mods, they shouldn't be green, but something different, such as a shade of blue. i guess it also would kinda get annoying to constantly be asked do perform a mod type function they aren't able to perform (aka, banning people from the sb).

Darnk green. Shoutbox mods, are dark green.

i meant banning people from the shoutbox, you can do that too? i had thought that only the webmaster, global mods, and shoutbox mods had that power.

Yeah, I can. Tho, I leave it to the mods to ban a member. Unless a mod leaves a not saying, if this member acts up again, ban them, then yes. I would, if they acted up.

an army green color? hmmm, yes that would work pretty well i guess, the shoutbox mod color is a tiny bit off, but close. :wink:

Too be honest, I always get mixed up wth the Mod colour's xD. But anyway I think that could be a good solution, but still, people may see them still as mods... Unless Steet add's the colour thing and says that for dark green, there fan news editors.

I've added this. They should be displayed in blue now.
Also, news editors won't be able to access the mods pages, so that no news editors can ban someone for example.
