Avenged Sevenfold

I'm not sure if there might be a topic for Avenged Sevenfold yet? Don't shoot me.

Anywho, Avenged Sevenfold is an awesome band! Started off on the heavy metal scene and moved towards a lighter, more easy listening metal. Overall just an awesome metal band! Some of there older stuff like Waking the Fallen is a lot of screaming and sick electric guitars. But if you listen to there latest self-titeld album, Avenged Sevenfold, its AWESOME! I was scared it was going to be bad then Avenged Sevenfold would just flop and become terrible.
There older songs mean a lot to me. They are a huge inspiration to my art.

I enjoy a few a few of their songs, and there's no denying that the guitarist has skills, but Matt Shadows tries too hard to be Phil Anselmo, and his vocals drag the band down for me.

Eh, I really don't like this band at all. I listened to a few of their songs but it didn't catch on with me or anything, the lead singers voice does sorta drag the band down like RagingBalto said. I mean don't get me wrong, I do like metal and everything but if you're going to be in a band, make sure the singer can actually sing first. Unless of course you're like Lemy in Motorhead. (who for some strange reason I enjoy listening to.) Then, who knows? XD

You don't need to have an excuse to like Motorhead. They're great.

my close friend is in love with their music its all he talks about so much so that i started listening to a few songs their alright and their lyrics speak the truth about things but i wouldnt consider mysef a fan

I do like Motorhead though. Yes, they are great.
