Okay the gang is located near the north border line of Canada. They soon journey to Nome to escape starvation.

Name: Hunter
Age: 5 years
Breed: Mixed between, golden retiever, husky, and german shepard
Personality: Hunter is tough, and will fight for fun, or purpose. He is respectable to girls, some time boys, if they are good friends with. The mix has a very bad temper, and will get mad when looseing or somthing dosent go his way.
Likes: fighting, being top-dog, winning, attention, females.
Dislikes: Males hitting on 'his' girls, loosing.
History: Hunter was born on the streets, tooken in by a human family who handled him alot, giving him many accsessories. He soon got fed up and snapped at one of them, to get put out side. Hunter accendtly bite one of the children so he was put into the poud. He escaped one night, when the night gaurd didnt lock his cage correctly.
Other: He has 2 collars and a wrist band.

Age: 3-4 years
Parents: Kyle and Natti
Breed: border collie
Personality: although he aperes cold and harsh, Den is really a sweet guy deep down..really deep down. hes just had a hard life so he trusts very few dogs/people. even still, it takes awhile for him to trust you. the only time you see his true nature is when hes with pups/children, hes got a major soft spot for them, or if hes alone with music playing nerby(you have to like spy on him to ever see him like that though)
Likes: pups, children, running, being loved, sunshine, music(he can't sing, but he likes it)
Dislikes: Greg, anyone touching his bandana(if anyone does, he snaps at em), rude dogs, being teased(Not the best thing in the world to do to this guy), dogs/people that tease other dogs/people, being alone, seeing other dogs/people with their familys(he gets jelous because he wants one) nightime, nightmares of Jenny leaving
Mate: none(he wants one, but won't admit it)
Pups: none(again, he wants some but won't admit it)

History: Den was born on a breeding farm, so he got to play alot when he was young. When he was seven weeks old he was adopted by a small family whos son wanted a dog. John(the boy) fell for Den at first sight.(that and Den tackled him and licked him like mad before any of the other pups) After some tiny persuasion(and a puppy eyed look from Den), Johns parents agreed and took him home. Den was introduced to Johns little sister Jenny(shes nine, Johns ten) who was delighted to have a puppy in the house.

Later that night, John told Den that Jenny was sick and they couldn't figure out why. She couldn't be outside for long, leaving the house was out of the question, she tired easily, and she seemed to be constently coughing. John had hoped that having a animal in the house might cheer her up and make her feel a little better. Den understood and hung around Jenny alot, more then John, but John didn't mind. Jenny and Den soon became inserprable and they did everything together, and for awhile it looked like Jenny would get better, but then she suddenly fell gravely ill. Her parents rushed her to the hospital while Den tried to confert a worried John. Johns parents called and said they had to stay at the hospital that night, John understood and agreed to be left home alone. Den was terribly confused and worried about Jenny, but he did his best to confert John.

When Johns parents brought Jenny back from the hospital the next morning, the looked tired and grim. John asked what had been wrong with Jenny, but his parents said they'd exspalin it all later. Den greeted Jenny happily and she gave him a big hug, but her parents asked her to go to her room for a minute. Den followed her, but halfway up the stairs he heard John and his parents talking, and they didn't sound happy. He shrugged it off and followed Jenny to her room. About a half hour later, Jenny was fast asleep with Den as her pillow.

The next morning, Den woke up to Jenny's mom shaking Jenny awake gently. Jenny woke up and asked her mom what was going on. Den looked concernd at how grim her moms face looked. Then the bomb hit. The family had to move from Nome. and they couldn't take Den. Den sat there stunned while Jenny started begging, but her mother just shook her head sadly. For the next few weeks, the house seemed busy and hectic, but Jenny and John spent all their time with Den. Their father had said a friend of theirs was going to take care of him until he found a home for him.

At last the day Den had been dreading arived. The day the family left. John gave him a finnal hug and told him they'd miss him. Jenny gave him a hug and tied a sky blue bandana around his neck, tears brimming her eyes she told him never to forget her. Then they left.

A few hours later, the friend(Tim) came and picked Den up and took him home. Den sulked around the house for days. One day a man came and talked to Tim, then took Den with him. The man put him in a small pen. At first Den thought the man would just leave him, which he thought was fine, since he didn't want to interact with anyone. For the first few days, the man only gave him a small amount of food and a little bit of water. Soon Den was starving and dehydrated, not to metion his fur was matted and coverd in mud. One night the man came out looking strange and carrying a stick. Den looked up as the man looked around. He turned to his pen and a strange look came across his face. The man came over and yanked the door open. Den slowly stood up as the man came closer.

Suddenly the man shouted something and threw the stick at him. Startled, Den jumped out of the way of the stick. Aprently the man didn't like that and grabbed the scruff on his neck. He whacked him hard across the head and threw him agenst the cage. Den yelped and tried to get back up, but the man kicked him in the stomach, laughed and left. Everynight after that the man would come out and start beating Den with various items or just hitting and kicking him. During the day he acted normal, but at night he'd go nuts and beat Den. Since Den was starved and dehydrated, he couldn't do much, and the nightly beatings just made his condition worse.

One night the man came out carrying a bottle. Den cringed and whimperd as he came enterd the pen. The man snarled and threw the bottle at him. It missed and shatterd at Dens feet. Just then a loud wailing sound pierced the air. A look of horror crossed the mans face and he shouted and started hitting and kicking Den repedetly. Den yelped and cried out. Shouts were heard and the man was suddenly pulled out by three other men. Another man came and started gently talking to Den as he carefully picked him up. Den was too weak to protest or care. He fell asleep.

When he woke up he was in a small cage in a room. He had a abandege around his paw and he was on a blue blanket. He sniffed around, then noticed the food and water. He hungerly ate it and drank the water. He figured he was at the vet, which was confirmed when a man in a white coat came in. Den growled at him when he opened the cage. The vet said something and tried to reach for his leg with the bandege. Not even thinking, Den bite his hand. The vet pulled his hand back, Den didn't hesitate, he lept out of the cage and knocked the vet over. He headed straight for the door. The door opened and Den shot past, ignoring the calls of the people. He was able to get out the main door and bolted down the street.

Other: he would probley be best as a pupsitter, scout, or stealer. most likley a pupsitter most of the time, and a stealer the rest. or something like that

Well, the were from morth canada and had to jounrey to Nome because of starvation. Den can be a newer member once the got to Nome.
