All right here is how this will work i'll start off a story 1 to 5 sentences long and the next person will continue the story with whatever they want k ! alright here goes...


Balto was in th midst of having an delightful dream when he suddenly awoke to hear howls and screams in the distance. Balto wasn't sure if the screams were human or animal so he decided either way to see what what was going on. Balto began walking and in a few miles heard the screams again up close. Then suddenly....

Boris popped out from behind a patch of snow covered bushes
"Balto" Began Boris in a worried tone
"If I were you I wouldn't go down there, you won't like what you find."
Balto was about to reply to his faithful feathered friend when he heard the screams again. This time he set off at a run seeking out what was making such a noise. What Balto saw shocked him to the core, it was a...

...wolf pup in a snare. Its mother was frantically trying to bite through the needle-sharp wire, whilst the pup screamed and howled in agony. If she didn't release him soon, the wire would cut through the pup's throat and kill him.
Balto didn't stop to think. He lurched forward towards mother and child - he knew how to release a snare.
"Balto, no!" cried Boris. "That's a wild wolf! She'll attack you!"
The she-wolf caught sight of the wolfdog, and...

This should be in, the roleplay secion.

I wouldn't say it is technically a roleplay - perhaps it would be better in the forum games section instead.

Balto was slightly nervous but he spoke up anyway. "Excuse me but, I couldn't help but notice your pup was stuck and I know how to get him out." The mother wolf jumped infront of her pup and growled. "Why should I trust you?" Balto gulped. Well, ummm you can chose weather to trust me or not but there's no time for that now! your pup looks badly hurt already I can tell!"

The mother snarled in anger, not at Balto but at her situation, she'd had many bad experiences with strangers and was highly untrustworthy of anyone she didn't know. Indeciscion marked her face as she struggled to decide whether to trust this strange wolf and his goose friend or not.

Once again the pup let out a strangled yelp of pain as he strained harder and harder agaisnt the thin but strong wire as it tightened further against the struggling pup's neck. The mother wolf quickly glanced up at Balto and as their eyes met Balto could see the panic and fear for the mother wolf's pup etched clearly on her face.
"Ok, do what you can to save my pup but please hurry" she said, desperation filling her voice.
"Don't worry he'll be fine when we get him out" urgently replied Balto as he quickly set to work in getting the wolf pup freed...

Before she knew it, her pup was freed. The she-wolf was over-joyed. "Oh thank you! I never thought he'd ever get out. Say, I never caught your name." "My name is Balto and this is my friend,Boris."

The she-wolf smiled somewhat awkwardly at Balto when he referred to the goose Boris as a friend. Balto laughed as he caught onto her hesitation
"It's a bit of a long story but believe me when I say I can't seem to go anywhere withouth him"
"And vh'y would you want too I may ask" replied Boris arching his eyebrow at Balto causing the half wolf to laugh yet again.
The she-wolf smiled at the two's banter and lowered her head down to nuzzle her pup hiding in between her legs.
"Again I'd just like to thank you so much for what you did Balto, I don't know what I'd do without my little River."

Both Boris and Balto smiled at the mother and her pup...

After smiling in the silence for a while, Balto shook his head. "River sounds a very nice name...."

The She-Wolf smiled yet again. She began licking the wounds of her pup.
"I think that we should be going now..." muttered Boris. Balto turned away, but stopped.
"Wait!" shouted the She-Wolf. "You must teach me how to release the snare. Many pups of our pack and others have fallen victim to it. You must teach us!" Her request was halfway between a plea and a command.
"Well..." started Balto, but something stopped him. From atop a snowy hill came a big, black, blur. It skidded to a halt beside the She-Wolf. It was an angry, fierce looking black wolf and Balto guessed it was the She-Wolf's mate and the River's father.

"Nancy! What happened to River? I could hear his screams!" The black wolf noticed River's wounds and the tears welled in the pup's eyes. The wolf stared before turning to Balto. "And who is this stranger?" he added, snarling. "Did he hurt River? I'll make him pay..."
"Kopeko, it's alright," Nancy said, sighing. "He... untangled River from that snare, along with his goose friend." Nancy motioned to the snare. Kopeko turned solemn at the sight of it and straightened up.
"...oh. Those snares have been costing us several lives recently... including poor Seamus last week, the poor pup. I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name. I'm Kopeko, alpha male of our pack... and you are?"

Balto was a little startled from the sudden arrival of this new wolf but he quickly regained his composure when the black wolf introduced himself.

"I'm Balto and this here's my friend Boris" replied Balto as he motioned to Boris.

Kopeko looked strangely between Boris and Balto wondering how exactly they were connected, a goose and a wolf was the oddest pairing he'd ever seen in his life. Shrugging the notion off Kopeko offered his thanks to the two for saving River's life.

"These traps are getting worse and worse and the hunters that use them are getting better at disguising them, even going as far as to erase all trace of their scent from these death traps." snarled Kopeko. The pup River whimpered slightly as the tone in his fathers voice grew, Kopeko let out a sigh

"I just can't understand why they're doing this to us" whispered Kopeko, his voice barely audible. A moment of awkward silence passed as no wolf or goose spoke for awhile until the little pup River spoke up.

"But dad... Balto saved me from this trap, won't he be able to do so for the others?" Asked River looking up from underneath his mom's legs at Kopeko and then to Balto.
