This idea has popped into my head, ok. There are 4 Moderators (Not including the section mods) on the forums, well, I think this is way not enough, aspecially because the mods are not on that much. I would also like to bring to my attention, the Gamebook moderators and there inactivity, I just wan't to say that it took 4 WEEKS for my Gamebook to be checked. Now I feel Steet needs to introduce new Moderators to the site and forum, What do you think?

Definately not. If you look at the "Staff" page on the main site there are many mods, way TOO many if you ask me. All that's truly needed is giving existing mods more jobs as most of us are easily capable of handling more than we are given.

1. There ARE more than enough mods to cover all areas. BUT...
2. Most of them are not on doing their jobs.
Of course, of those who are on, some of them do a very good job, and are overworked (especially in covering for other mods who AREN'T), and others are doing a pretty lousy job. And yet, Steet dose not see this, he thinks there ALL doing a great job, when most of them, havn't evan been on the site for months. Mightybalto1925 wrote: UK teh white wolfer wrote: Definately not. But still, if we don't need more, we should just replace the non-active ones, that would make alot of scense. UK teh white wolfer wrote: Definately not. I totally agree with JerseyCaptain. I think we should get like a 'Last Online' if we don't have it already. And maybe, steet could judge who a mod could be by a list of requirements. If I were him, it would be as follows: -On regular -Expertise on particular subject (if on the main site e.g. art) -Corrects users mistakes, but not flaming, in a more gentle tone -Doesn't completely take over a moderaters role ...and so on

DakotaWereWolf wrote: No, I think we have enough moderators at the moment and some are active, while others may come on, like twice a week (this is inaccurate probably but I'm just using it as an example). Quote: And the forum sections.. no. However, I do believe that there should be another global moderator, because, as far as I've seen, UK and Togo are the only active ones and a big forum like this needs more than that. I agree and disagree. There are some other mods besides UK and Togo who are more active here rather on the site, but the site gets hit with the problems (the endless come of trolls for example) and that I think that some mods should pay more attention to the site at the moment. Of course some mods can't be on everyday. And if you're so concerned about the gamebooks section (I don't normally go there, so I don't know how active it is there) then we'll see if Steet decides to give some of the current active mods the liberty to allow gamebooks on the site much faster. I, to be honest, see no problem with the wait nor the mods (as I think we got a plentiful amount here). Well, average time for Fan Fics is 2-7 days, and most of them are over 15,000 words long, so I don't see why it takes 4 weeks to read a 15 page (Of about 15 words) Gamebook...
