Well, I came up with an idea to make a novel of a girl falling in love with a vampire hybrid (Hence my characters James, Anna, and Damian). But right when I was about to start my story a friend called and told be about the Twilight series. So if this seemes a bit similar to the books I'm sorry. I also currently don't have a name for this story either so suggestions would be very helpful.

Preface:
Vampires, creatures the world likes to call as inhuman, vile, & bloodthirsty. I suppose any average human being would agree with that definition and so did I. But when I reached my sophomore year in high school that all changed radically. It seems that god has strange and interesting ways to making my life full of adventure and surprises. Through turmoil and love, pain and thankfulness. My life has been anything but of the ordinary.

Chapter 1:
My name is Anna Clarice Darfane, an interesting combination of words if I do say so myself. I was born in a small town in Germany; I still don’t know were to this day. But as I recall, when I was born I was left at the hospital by my parents. I guess they weren’t as prepared for a child as they had once thought. Thankfully a couple visiting from the United States very generously offered to be my sergeant parents until they found me a permanent family. So my adventures started at a young age and with the couple I flew over to the U.S. As I grew I changed from family to family, desperately hoping to fit in. It was then around seventh grade that I was discovered by the Shultz family in Denver, Colorado. They were small in stature, quiet, and had two children in college. As nice as they were, I still felt that echoing realization that I probably would never come across my actual parents.

School wasn’t any better either. Apart from being the social reject, I never made friends. Maybe it was the fact that I didn’t have an appealing body. I realized I didn’t have an “hour glass“ figure. Or a possibility could be that I didn’t wear the right clothes. But what did it matter, I would never be like the “Barbie dolls” that made fun of me. So I put everything into my schoolwork. Art I was especially good at. Unfortunately that was the only period I shared with Stephanie Farkley. An arrogant, stuck up ballet dancer. I also had the pleasure of sitting next to her. For weeks I would sit there in embarrassment, listening to her constantly mocking me. The worst of it all was she was always in all of my art classes every year.

But my story begins in eighth grade. That was when I had actually gained friends. I remember the day very clearly. It was the first day of school and I was heading over to my first class. That was when a frantic girl with short and spiky brown hair ran up to me.
“Do you know where the J building is?” She gasped, clearly out of breath from running around in a panic. I looked at her surprised by her sudden appearance and then answered. “Yeah I’m going there right now.” I replied. Almost immediately you could see her relax and almost immediately after that she heaved a huge sigh.
“Thank you very much” she said and fallowed me like a lost puppy. We walked in silence for a minute as I glanced over at her. She was short, shorter than me, which was a first since I was only 5’3. She also had icy blue eyes, which contrasted against her dark brown spiky hair. She was definitely lean, more like skin and bones. It was then that we reached the J building.
“So what class are you in?” I asked.
The girl looked at the crumpled piece of paper, “I’m in room 304”.
I stared at her, “That’s the same room as mine!”
Her eyes grew wide and she smiled. “That’s cool! Oh my name’s Flo by the way.” Flo, what an interesting name for such an interesting person. That was when the bell rang and we rushed inside. Flo and I were able to find two seats in the back of the class. The teacher was still getting ready for the day so I managed to talk to her.
“My name is Anna but you can call me Ann for short.” I whispered.
“Ok.” she replied, but then the teacher started to talk. We had Mr. Wendell a tall, middle-aged man with a bald spot. This year he was teaching Algebra 1 and it appeared he really didn’t know what he was doing. But thankfully he didn’t give us any homework for our first day.

For the rest of the period Flo and I sat there exchanging notes with the occasional glance to make sure Mr. Wendell wasn’t watching us. Apparently Flo had just moved up her from Atlanta, Georgia and wasn’t used to the cold climate and elevation. We exchanged phone numbers and promised each other to call that night. I was so excited to have acctually made a friend for what seemed like the first time. Since I never had a sister it was great knowing that I had a friend that would understand me. The bell eventually rang & we were the first two out.
“So do you wan’t to meet some were for lunch?” I asked her while opening my locker. We were both surprised to find out that our lockers were only a few feet away from eachother. Flo looked around for a few seconds. ”How about those tables by Library?”
“Ok! That’s sounds good”
“what class do you have next?” She glanced at my scedual.
“I have Art” I could see a bit of dissapointment on her face.
“Aw I have Science."

(I'm currently working on it still. I never have time to acctually type it, but I can draw scenes & gather ides for it. So what do you guys think?)
