(I'm not new to RPing, but I'm new to RPing on here. xD Let's give this a try. I'm not very good with roleplaying with more than two others, so let's see what happens I suppose. ^_^)

It was that time of the year again, the time where all fancy purebred dogs showed their skills in the top dog shows of Nome's Winter Fur Coat Season. As if it wasn't always cold enough for winter coat season.
The majority of the participants were huskies, which she was half of, but that never seemed to be enough.
Being of a slightly stockier elegant build resembling that of a wolf, Hinote could only stand by and watch her dream be played out among the other 'dogs', which they didn't quite consider her to be. 'You're not a dog, mixed breed,' and 'go groom your mop top, fuzzy,' were similar retaliations to her inquiries to join. None of them seemed to accept her.
"Apparently my silver fur doesn't glisten enough for them," she snapped, turning her nose from the 'high class' purebreeds.

Can I join? I'd like to be a stray German Shepherd/wolf mix who becomes her friend if I can....

Turbojet padded through town. He saw Hinote and padded to her. "Are you okay?" eh asked.

Hinote looked over to Turbojet as her crystal blue eyes focused in on the new set of paws approaching. She did seem a little down, but she didn't want others to be down because of her. Letting out a light sigh, she turned to him and nodded. "Mmhmm, I'm alright. Just a little peeved about the annual MisJudging Fest," she replied with a slight bite to the tone, referring to the dog show.
Whoops. So much for keeping a smile...

"Judges are stupid," said Turbojet.

"That's... not particularly what I meant," she answered, looking aside a bit as she shifted her large wolfish feet. "It's more like the other 'dogs' in the show that won't let me join. They say I can't play the part." A glare of aggravation began to make its way on her brows a little more obviously.

"I think you should," said Turbojet. "Ignore hte dogs."

"I wish, but even if I was accepted by the other dogs, I'm still not a purebred husky or some other fancy dog like an Alaskan Malamute."

"But you can make your point all the same," said Turbojet.

"I know... I know I could," she sighed, "but either way, I can't get in since the judges only accept purebred dogs, not halfbreed wolves like me." Looking to the building where the show took place, her eyes held a longing for it. A lost longing. "I guess all I can do is stand by and watch. That's all I can ever do."
