Sorry to have to bring this out here, but I'm not ready to "fight" the real group with this.
Okay, so lately there's this thing called
" Why Americans Shouldn't cosplay " going around the internet.
I disagree with this. They compare the BEST Japanese cosplayers( Who have very high budgets) to American cosplays who didn't feel like spending 100+ on an outfit, or materials to make one.
Ok so, What the heck!? That is an unfair comparison. Not everybody can afford all the materials, or an outfit from a website( Trust me, they're expensive! )! Personally my friends and I are willing to buy the outfits or buy the materials needed, but, why spoil their fun? The point of cosplaying is to have fun. No matter what you wear, or who you go as, you can still have a good time. When you're having fun appearance doesn't matter!
So if you're one of those " Americans Shouldn't Cosplay " people, please think this over.
