I don't know if any of you think I have a right to make a suggestion, being so new to the site. But let me assure you, I do. Like anything in the world, this site isn't perfect, and therefore anyone has the ultimate right to make suggestions so that it can be perfected to the best of its ability. So, I suggest, if it is possible, that there be some sort of "mark read/unread" system for the forums for threads, like there is for email. I'm sure this will sound like I have OCD to many of you, but those jiggling, red paws dancing in front of my face when I just want to calmly search the forums for topics I'd like to reply to, are just plain annoying. I know very well that it is a part of a well organized system to show which topics have been replied to recently, if they've had a lot of posts, no posts, etc, but the fact remains that they are annoying. [IMO.] Also, do not misunderstand this as a rant topic, because it is clear in the title, and in about three-fourths of this post that I am making a valid proposal.
So, I simply ask, does anyone agree/disagree with me? Why do agree/disagree, and do any of the mods or admin think that there is any way possible that my suggestion could be turned into reality, if it is shared by the majority of the respondents? (I hope I've been clear enough, but if I haven't just post in here and also please add something to the topic of conversation so that don't feel like a complete idiot.)
Also, I'm pretty sure there isn't another topic like this, but if there has been, please kindly tell me, and then I will request that the mods lock this. Flame wars don't need to be started for no reason if some of us would just use an ounce of common sense and be polite, even if they want to blow up in rage.

Well, I think the system is fine the way it is. Technically, it does say when you have read a post, it turns blue until a new post was made in the topic. I don't think it's worth the work of adding this option...I think it's fine the way it is really.
