If i recall this is a kids friendly site if i recall.. am i right?... now on topics i've seen horrible pictures of animals being slaughtered.. and shot, or videos showing graphics.. but if i was at the age of 10 and came on this site and saw those i'd probably traumatized nor if they were my kids looking at these.. i know i'm over reacting and i know you older people or the ones who made this topic are saying "oh grow up like sheesh it's a few pictures" or "om*g who cares" .. but you know what i don't care and i don't know if there are rules (since i didn't read them cuz i know what to say or do on a kid friendly site) .. but w.e you guys can lock this but you know what.. even i don't like seeing pictures of sliced up horses or skinned alive wolves .. i don't know about you but it's sickening.. so you guys can be b**chy at me or leave good comments .. but it's SICK !!

I think that a little violence or gore is ok...But not too much. Like pictures of slaughtered horses and wolves skinned alive, that's too much. I don't think it's really good for the younger members here. If they do, however, wish to see these things, there are plenty of sites who wre built for these kinds of things.

Although, as I mentioned, a little violence here and there won't do much harm. But I think it would still be nice if people could post "Do not click this link if you very easily sickened" or something like that...

So, yeah, any content THAT bad as you mentioned, should NOT be posted here.

agree with both but.. you know kids or younger ones are more like to be very curious (heck i am) .. just like kids if you tell them to not push the red button or walk across the street without looking both ways.. they do it anyways.. well from what i've known from experience in babysitting .. but ye violence here or there won't hurt but kids will be be kids and look because of curiosity.. lol just my saying

you people think of yourselves before others.. i'm 17 and a half and i don't have a weak stomach but like come on .. do you people enjoy watching these video's of animals being abused, or watching them being slaughtered or skinned alive?.. do you like seeing that or something... cuz i definitely don't.. it's sick to the head that people would post this on this site.. you don't see Balto slaughtering Steel do you?!.. gee i wonder why not hunh?.. well anyways i'll let you young or young minded people think on that...

I think most of the footage\photographs posted here are not because they enjoy seeing it. On the contrary, they're simply trying to show everyone how much suffering we may cause an animal to go through to make people realize that it's not ok.

But, those things here are not ok to post. Too much gore or violence shouldn't be posted. (I mean on the main site you can't even have too much descriptive violence in fanfics...so pictures\videos should be the same.)

Like mentioned, those things are not okay to post... and even though it's being posted to try and make people realise the horror and torture these animals are going through, and I am against animal cruelty in almost every possible way... this is not PETA or WSPA or ASPCA or RSPCA... it's Balto and Lion King Source. So please, if you want to post that stuff, post it somewhere else, where it belongs, not Animation Source.

I, personally, agree. Pardon me if this has been posted, or its likeness, already.

Some people will show these pictures as an "Animals' Rights Movement," trying to stop poaching and animal killing. Unfortunately, this also means showing people just how "bad" it is, and how painful it is for the animals. By showing all of this, it pulls sympathy (and apathy) from anyone looking at it. If they feel "bad enough," they will donate to the cause or sign the petition.

Still, it shouldn't be allowed on this site. Personally I've yet to run into it. But if someone brings it to the rant board, they have.

Totally agreed. I look at those things and sign petitions at WSPA or whatever, but I don't post them here.

The site is for all ages. If you see anything you think does not fit the description, you should report it.
